It's doesn't look to me like they're confronting anything, they're just continually making excuses for disastrous business decisions.

That’s what ten years of Roger Goodell gets you. Hist ten year quest to remake the NFL into the XFL is working.

Hiding from the truth is rarely a good strategy. I care less about the NFL than I do pond scum.

I won’t watch NFL nor will I watch espn. I missed the home run derby Monday night because I will no longer watch ESPN. Let ESPN and the NFL starve.

If only. We could use another “he hate me.”

I think they should dedicate the whole season to Breast Cancer Awareness. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Since Viagra is facing stiff competition from generics, will their future ad buys be flaccid?

They could try giving Kaitlin Jenner another made up award for something to see if that is what the masses want.

They should take a knee for the national anthem.

All of what is euphemistically called professional sports” in this country could simply cease to exist and the country would be better off for it. Maybe then the fat-a$$ed perambulating turds who drink beer and fart all weekend in front of their “big screens” might do something with their wives and kids, or become somewhat “informed” about the sad state of politics in this country and how it’s affecting their “sport addled” brains. And as a side benefit, cities and towns all over the country would quit going into debt to buy these rich franchisees opulent places to play in that they too soon say are “inadequate” and want the taxpayers to foot the bill for an even “better venue.”
Waiting for the “incoming” from the “perambulating turds.”

Getting rid of Goodell would be a starting point to staunch the rating hemorrhage.

Wellllllll, maybe, just maybe you can go back to the days of John Facenda when you know, he was F’n talking about Football...it’s not a GD mystery you morons.

TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL and keep it patriotic and love the country and love the nation and honor good men, men of character, men you would want to have your back in a street brawl.

Frown on anti-Patriotism...ESPN, if you want your audience back leave the social comments for fake news...And for God sake, get rid of pink month...Pink does not belong on a football player, Lyle Alzado has got to be turning over in his grave.

A few factors that they're in denial about:

Colin Kaepernik and those who followed his lead. It's disturbing that the NFL doesn't insist that team members follow rules of conduct when they're on the field and being paid. To a great degree, the NFL is connected to patriotism, USA-first values. It's not working, thinking that women and sissified men will replace their traditional fan base.

The issue of concussions. There are parents who don't let their children play organized football. That has an impact in shifting interest to other sports.

How many families can afford to go to an NFL game? There are better alternatives for that amount of money.

Rules changes and confusion. The silly breast cancer awareness initiative.

The NFL will self-destruct if this keeps up. They're trying to bring back revenue and popularity without going back to what made football highly profitable and popular.

Maybe telling their viewers they suck is not a great business model?

Maybe if they stopped pushing anti-Americanism and gay football players, people would be interested in watching more.

It was nice to see at the MLB All Star game last night, every player/manager standing at attention and showing respect, when appropriate.

The NFL can trot out more militant hate America Blacks aka BLMers with jihadist names while showing their hatred of America when the Star Spangle Banner is sung/played.

They can wipe their cleats on American flags laying under their shoes to really make a point!

While ESPN hires more liberal former jock morons/idiots to discuss how bad America is and how great Gay and whatever the latest sex is.

They could have NYC black actors act like they are stabbing
Trump, while the cast of Hamilton laughs!

That will show the evil Trump voters, who is boss on the NFL fields.

Maybe because ads are unwatchable? The commentary unlistenable? The post-play histrionics unsportsmanlike?
