I am not going to look at the timing. You need to look at minutes..not hours. In fact...maybe seconds as thee algos piled on.
I am not trading today so I wasnt paying attention...and since i am not trading not going to bother to look on my phone which is too hard to do research
The DOW is up 22. Will they post that it rallied on the release of the emails?
The market was down for a few seconds. Then it went back up. It was trending down. It then crashed and went back up almost immediately. Yes the market is down now, but its been trending down for two weeks now.
Looking at one hour candles for DJI over past several days I can’t tell where this “drop” is. If the email release did effect the DJI, then it was it too small to bother about.
I could just see them in the newsrooms...
“Hey, Don Jr. just released his email chain with that Russian sweetie... and... and there’s... NOTHING!!”
Newsroom Boss: “What?? oh crap!! OH $#%& !! Someone find something! ANYTHING negative we can tie to this? terror attack, car accident, bad weather ... ANYTHING!!”
intrepid reporter: “How this? I got the market down 100 right now?”
Newsroom Boss: “RUN IT!! And keep running with it until we find something else!! “

The premise for the meeting was fake. The equivalent of clickbait. But that is what the media attaches itself to. If I said I had evidence that Hillary personally shot Seth Rich to get a meeting to discuss cats, would the premise for the meeting be true? For those saying yes, realize she is to lazy to do her own dirty work.

It was down and now it’s up. THat’s not how the Market is supposed to act right?-)
Nonsense. They are just trying to blame it on that.
When the market went up after Trump’s election, they did not attribute it to Trump.
But anything negative just has to be Trump’s fault .
Ridiculous.
Drop in stock market good time to buy and sell high.
Both the DOW and NASDAQ were up at the closing!
You’d think the MSM drive-bys would have learned by now to not try for news scoops until they know the outcomes.
Might be an all-time closing high for the DOW today.
Funny thing when I listen to ABC radio news. At the tail end of the five minute news, they give a short, “the Dow closed up 21 points, today’. Neither today, nor yesterday, did they happen to mention that each day represented new all-time high for the stock market index. I am sure that this oversight was not done on purpose.
