Bet you didn’t have as many speeding tickets as my teenage daughter did. Her dad bought her a ‘57 Chevy which she drove like Barney Oldfield. They published names of people who received speeding tickets in our little local weekly paper. Suspect she set the record for appearing the most times when she was in high school.

Almost $3.50 in WA.

So glad to be out of that state.

I am paying less for premium here in northern Michigan.

At one time it would cost me $8 to fill up to drive to Vegas. ⛽️⛽️

I recall doing some work at a gas station where they dug up an old gas sign buried - said something like $1.70 a gallon. The client (a liberal) quipped “man that sign is old”. Just by chance I had recently read it, and said “Not that old - that’s what the price of gas was when Dubya Bush left office.” It took him (and me to be honest when I read it) by surprise.

I recall going on fishing trips by myself in my dad’s station wagon. Didn’t ever have to worry about how far I would go to find a decent lake or stream. There was always plenty of loose change in the ash tray to get me home from anywhere!

This is why Putin helped Trump elected. Make the price of oil drop so instead of a 20 big, black SUV motorcade he can drive himself in a Lada.

#2 The politicians get FREE gas and a car to go with it so they do not care about the peasants.

Gull dam women. Always going to a fire.

I would have got more because I out ran the cops many times.

I knew ALL the two rut backroads and shortcuts all over that county. If they wanted to follow me at a high speed on the two ruts-and I mean TWO RUT ROADS, they were welcome to it. A lot of those roads were simple logging trails.

Why I am alive today is outside of me.

Suspect you were one of those guys my mom didn’t want me around because you were “so bad and evil”. Such a difference between teens in the 1950’s and now. Don’t recall anyone shooting anyone just for fun or as part of some initiation. We had guns but they were for hunting. Didn’t even know about drugs - although the “bad boys” smoked. We didn’t loot and burn although on the 4th of July we were known to blow up a mailbox or two or an outhouse with a cherry bomb.

Happy Independence Day!

I live in California’s Sacramento Valley. Gas is NEVER cheapa here. Ever. Still pushing $3 per gallon here.

I hate this commie state. Getting very close to retirement whereupon I can cut the wires of the Gulag and flee to America, leaving my communist prison camp behind.

I hate California with a burning passion. What a beautiful state the commie liberals and illegals have ruined.

Down here by Biloxi it’s averaging $.194 or so - seen it as low as $1.83 at one station
