In recent years, Hawking has become something of a doom-monger who is determined to sketch out a variety of grim fates which await the human race.
In his latest prophecy, the professor suggested our planet could be destined to become totally uninhabitable.
“We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of two hundred and fifty degrees, and raining sulphuric acid,” he told the BBC.
“Climate change is one of the great dangers we face, and it’s one we can prevent if we act now.
“By denying the evidence for climate change, and pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, Donald Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage to our beautiful planet, endangering the natural world, for us and our children.”
The famed physicist and doom monger also fears that “evolution has inbuilt greed and aggression to the human genome”, meaning that we might wipe ourselves out before Earth turns into Venus.

The smelly lefties love producing political ads of Republicans pushing granny in her wheelchair over the brink. If this hawking thing keeps up the stupid, some enterprising Generation Z kid will modify one of those ads to show Trump pushing hawking in his wheelchair over the brink.

WTF is this guy’s appeal? He can’t really be that smart.
I really don’t know where to place Hawking in the physicist continuum. Is he a “genius?” Were all Democratic party Presidents of the 20th century “highly intelligent.” I think the MSM would have us answer in the affirmative in both cases.
My guess is that Hawking is an O.K. physicist who has been propagandized into a great physicist. I’m sad that he has ALS. Does the press use our (mandatory) sympathy as an emotional cudgel to force us to bow before his genius?
I gather that his views are politically correct. What if he had very different views? Would the press then present him as a monster?
How can anyone that smart be so dumb?
He is only sharp in cosmology (Some say he is now outdated!) ask him about anything outside physics (particularly cosmology!) & he’s no more knowledgeable then anyone else!
Expertise in one field does not mean expertise in all fields!

MAN MADE Climate change FRAUD is one of the great dangers we face, and it’s one we can prevent if we act now.
The left is nothing else adaptive. The coming new ice age did not work out. Global warming did not work out. So they invited MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE and then began leaving off the “man made” portion leaving only “climate change”
No one disputes the earth’s climate changes. Only that man has anything to do with that change. However, if you have not been taught to think for yourself, it is believable.
Man made climate change is fake, God made climate change is real. See the difference?
Maybe conservatives can this slogan over from the left like they have done with so many traditional words.
We should have a National God made climate change day and celebrate the fact that a warm earth is better than an ice age.
