A power plant company in the Czech Republic held a contest on Facebook that asked the public to rate which bikini-clad intern applicant the company should choose to employ.
CEZ Group unveiled the 10 photos of the high school graduates, which were taken at one of the cooling towers at its Temelin power plant, according to Deutsche Welle.
The power plant asked Facebook users to choose which bikini-clad woman was their favorite. The girl who won the most votes would be dubbed the Bouncer of Energy and awarded a 14-day internship at the company.
The competition was heavily criticized by Czech news media and social media.
The competition is absolutely outside the bounds of ethics, Petra Havlikova, a Czech human rights lawyer told Akutalne.cz. In 2017, I find it incredible that someone could gain a professional advantage for their good looks."
The company later apologized for the contest.

Not Guilty.
They should have had 12 finalists and made an energy calendar. LOL
They all look like winners.
They should obviously pick the one in the blue and green bikini
She was a good kisser but had tuna breath.;-)
Pink and blue.
Brilliant!
We need an expert opinion.
Those aren't bikinis.
Czech mate.
First, they update their constitution to ensure the personal right to firearms.
Then THIS!
No wonder they make the best beer in the world.
If I owned a power plant, that’s exactly how I would choose my interns ;^)
“Oh, mercy nurse!”
Next they will hold a wet T-shirt contest to attract nuclear engineer and physicist applicants!
Makes one think about inserting the control rod (that’s nuke plant lingo).
Very pretty young women. A very nice theme for a photo shoot. They should be proud of themselves, and the photographer.
Nothing wrong with the glam contest. Just, inappropriate to connect a glam contest to an internship at the plant. Not “work related.”
BTW Every one of the girls was offered an internship.
While the contest was silly at best and demeaning at worst, studies show that appearance matters in professional advancement, even when we think it shouldn't.
The worst part is that it was on Facebook, which thinks it should replace all other social institutions.
This is the one exception where everyone definitely should get a trophy.
