Germany has a bizarre historical connection with Islam that lies beneath much of the present day crisis in Europe. One could argue that these connections are just the product of historical coincidences, but with Germany the coincidences seem to add up regularly.

I believe I once read that Yasser Arafat’s uncle headed up the islamic contingent of the nazi party.
Hitler was a fan of islam and said if it was not for his atheism, he would have been muslim... which sounds eerily similar to where liberals stand.
Also he cursed the catholic origins of Germans and wished they had been muslim instead. He pretty much planned implicitly for a replacement of Germans by islamists... so much for his followers thinking he had their best interests as a socialist

If so, you didn't get far enough to learn that Hitler worked with the "Grand Mufti of Jerusalem," to kill the Allies in North Africa during WWII (Rommel's victory at the first battle of El-Alamein) and Hitler promised the Mufti to subjugate and kill as many Jews across all of Europe as possible in his Final Solution.
The Mufti made promises to Hitler to prevent the infidels from victory in his part of the world.
Don't believe this writer and don't believe me but check history books for yourself, if you still can find ones not scrubbed of "violent history of Islam."

Germans have a reputation which is based primarily on the history of Prussian aggression and expansionism.
Prussia is technically based in the area of Brandenburg - in and around Berlin. Other German areas were never expansionist - say the Rheinland or Bavaria, for example.
In the 19th century when Germanics were exiting the old country, most of them were not from the old historic Prussian area, but from those areas annexed following the 1815 Treaty of Vienna following the defeat of Napoleon.
Bismarck united Bavaria and some other holdouts into the Second German Reich in about 1870-71. Before that Bavaria was its own independent kingdom. Part of the exodus from Germany in the 19th century was trying to get away from Prussian influence and more freedom of thought and religion. The “Prussians” hated Catholics and imprisoned many priests; they did not like the independence of thought of the Jewish population, and they tried to outlaw the old Lutheran faith which still followed Martin Luther’s standards and replace it with a more modern version. This led to an exodus of Lutheran people as well.
As for Bavaria, I like to compare it to Texas. They never forget that they are Bavarians; have their own proud history, and like to have fun. Germans are as nearly as diverse as Americans and should not all be considered as ‘Prussian-like”.

the rap against the germans here is not a rap against germans persay but a rap against Atheist communists—of whom the USA has quite a few. It does Israel not a bit of good for Germany, France and England to go Muslim.
It is my belief to be why Merkle and other EU "leaders," are so open to the so-called "refugees" which are almost totally Muslims. Why?
Those leaders embrace millions of "refugees" to the detriment of their own citizens, who are raped, mugged and even murdered. Why?
I wonder why they persist in opening their borders to unvented Muslims, and even up the numbers in so doing. Their own citizens beg for help from the scourge when none is offered, again, why?
