Several military officials were reportedly caught off guard by a White House statement Monday night that indicated Syria was engaged in "potential preparations" for a new chemical attack, The New York Times reported....
...The reported lack of communication between military channels also appeared to be corroborated by a BuzzFeed News report that cited five defense officials who said they did not know of the details regarding a potential chemical attack, and were not aware of the White House's plans to release a statement.
Shortly after the White House statement was released, Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the United Nations, said on Twitter: "Any further attacks done to the people of Syria will be blamed on Assad, but also on Russia & Iran who support him killing his own people.

I think you’re being set up by the New York Slimes and Buzzfeed.
Two known fake news outlets.
Wise up.
Nikki Haley seems to be representing Nikki Haley with her pronouncements.
The New York Times and BuzzFeed?
If they reported it was raining I would go outside and check for myself.
I think the U.S. intel services have gone totally deep-state rogue against Trump, and are feeding him false reports.
With Trump and Putin set to meet soon at the G20 it could be argued this is designed undermine that and listening to all this ‘off guard’ reporting may indicate that the inside the government perps of the hostility towards Russia-Syria want to cover their tracks and blame the White House.
Believe me, if Trump ends up bombing Assad, the New York Times and Buzzfeed will be revelling. Take it to the bank and....wise up!
If Assad wants to use chemical weapons the ‘rebels’ and their dependents, I don’t see a problem.
Everybody in Syria, except Christians, Yezidees, and maybe the Kurds are bad guys. Heavy casualties are fine with me.
We need to pack up leave. And this ‘regime change’ crap needs to go into the garbage, along with those who support it.
“Several military officials were reportedly...”
“The New York Times reported.... “

Libs are saying he did this because of the carter page revelation that he has talked repeatedly to the fbi.
But it seems to me your idea makes more sense.
There was a story about how preibus was trying to limit things just being given to trump directly...to combat influence from rogue actors
The first “Assad chem attack” about 3 years ago turned out to be a total BS story.
And as it turned out the peeps were probably the very Isis related, totally untrustworthy guys that Obama was funding and equipping.
I don’t believe any chem allegations against Assad.
Trump can nuke him for all I care.
What about our boots on the ground?
AP reporter tweeted policy advisors at state were not advised. Senior official learned about about statement from reporter
“The New York Times reported...”
I stopped right there. Why post something based on a claim made by the lying’ NYLies?
“Trump can nuke him for all I care.”

The mainstream media, the Deep State & the globalists would be ecstatic! Ecstatic both for the act itself furthering their agenda and for the new opportunity it would present to attack Trump big time. Wise up!
Seymour hersh has apparently been blacklisted . People scared to run his story. German paper published saying IC told trump no evidence of chemical from Assad..then trump came out with statement
Interesting to me that the media doesnt want to run This story. Dont know what that means in a day and age thaT they should want to run it
Makes me suspicious of all of this
Btw..RT is running with the intel story..because it supports russians view
The New York Times reported....
Don’t worry, I’m sure the New York Slimes and Buzzfeed will tell you what to think of it.
I don’t recall you being a Trump supporter, so I’m not sure why you are pretending to be concerned about him now.
