Pope Francis called for a one world government and political authority this week, arguing that the creation of the one world government is needed to combat major issues such as climate change. Speaking with Ecuadors El Universo newspaper, the Pope said that the United Nations doesnt have enough power and must be granted full governmental control for the good of humanity.
But what is raising eyebrows is the Popes call for a new global political authority. Here is more from the Guardian:
Pope Francis will this week call for changes in lifestyles and energy consumption to avert the unprecedented destruction of the ecosystem before the end of this century, according to a leaked draft of a papal encyclical. In a document released by an Italian magazine on Monday, the pontiff will warn that failure to act would have grave consequences for all of us.
Francis also called for a new global political authority tasked with tackling the reduction of pollution and the development of poor countries and regions. His appeal echoed that of his predecessor, pope Benedict XVI, who in a 2009 encyclical proposed a kind of super-UN to deal with the worlds economic problems and injustices.
The word globalization means exactly what it says. It is the process of transitioning the world into a global government. Religious leaders are playing their part in this great deception.
David Rockefeller famously said that a global crisis would have to occur before the people of the world would be willing to accept a New World Order. When the world economy suffered a dramatic crash in 2008, world leaders again proclaimed the need for a New World Order with global financial control. As demonstrated by Pope Francis, climate change and the global warming hoax is now the global elites preferred method of scaremongering, as they attempt to shepherd humanity closer to unified totalitarian rule.
Disturbingly, world religious leaders are also beginning to come together as one to preach from the same hymn sheet, instructing their sheep to accept the components of the New World Orders one world government.
In case you missed it, world leaders from a diverse collection of religious communities called for world unity in a video message released last week.
The call for a world government, led by Pope Francis, Ayatollah Al-Milani, the Dalai Lama and Rabbi Abraham Skorka, is seen as a major step on the road to the New World Order that was prophesied over 2,000 years ago.
We were warned multiple times by the Apostles about End Times scoffers and children of rebellion.
What will happen, will happen very soon.

We have been in worse places than this regarding the spread of the Gospel and the state of the Christian faith.
Having said that, we should be prepared for the return of Jesus, as a thief in the night. Unexpectedly. This current leftist apostate trend should be seen, I think, as a cautionary example to us to ALWAYS be prepared.
And even if Jesus doesn’t return for another ten thousand years, our personal judgment day may happen at any moment as well.
So that people can’t figure out 841 (for example).
I know. Showed it to a friend, personally. Then he bought into his priest’s twist. Oh well.....
We should be careful about ascribing specific events related to Christ’s return to specific people or events until after it’s happened.
The only thing we know for certain is that Jesus’ return will happen unexpectedly.
Lift up your heads. Your redemption draweth nigh.
>>Bye Bye Catholic Church...
People of all nationalities and religions have been saying exactly that for about 17 centuries, so I think it’s safe to say that ain’t gonna happen. What such people commonly overlook is that the Pope is not the Catholic Faith, nor is he the Catholic Church. Any objective history of Christianity will explain these distinctions.
No.
Not when they position themselves pretty much in line with what is prophesied.
I did not say “he is” — I usually (try) to specifically state “acts like”, though I might accidentally miss doing such, here and there.
For example, I say Obama does a good impression of the Antichrist, but don’t know if he actually will become him. They serve the same master, though. That is plain as day.
But I agree, in general. Can’t really know until it actually happens.
>>he is the straw that will break the camels back.
Not so. See post #145.
[ From the very beginning, there seems to be a cosmic “script” for this guy, written ahead of time, that even the media has been following to a T. ]
We could also say (and have said) the same about Barack Hussein Obama.
Probably a coincidence. Or something.
Or something.
That’s it. I’m leaving the Church.
Good point. Obama and Frankie sure are acting like it; sheesh. Maybe they’re trying to audition for the part.
But who knows; maybe if their plans all crumble to the ground, they’ll repent of all the evil that they have done and they may end up with us in eternal life. But that’s known to the Lord, not me.
At least we know who wins in the end.
Frankenpope bump
Not a fan of Francis, but I think you put this in the ‘fake news’ category. I can’t find any actual quotes about this, if you google it, you get things he said in Ecuador in July 2015.
It’s BS, didn’t happen
You would expect the false prophet to say that, wouldn’t you?
>>probably not. I dont know too many catholics that read the Bible, unfortunately. My janitorial lady at my office building said she was told by her priest it was a sin to read the Bible.
Salvation isn’t dependent upon reading the Bible is it?
Ain’t it funny how the “one world government with authority” people exist on the same side of the political spectrum as the “anarchists?”
Yeah, maybe. I try to point out, in admitted futility to liberal voters (and even others) how some of them empower folks like this who seem to be lining up.
At the speed with which Iran is working towards nuclear weapons, and now with $150 billion dollars from American taxpayers (Thanks Obama!) Ezekiel 38, I submit, may not be too far off.
I cannot prove it, but I think Ezekiel 38 happens before the Tribulation, much like Dr. LaHaye (RIP) though I think they made a serious mistake with 666 in their fiction novels.
Hal Lindsey and I don’t agree per se on Ezek. 38 - 39 — neither did brother Dave Hunt (also RIP) who thinks it’s Armageddon. I think it precedes Armageddon.
I discussed it in chat with Hal more than a decade ago. (Ezek 38-39).
Salvation isnt dependent upon reading the Bible is it?
***
Was that a rhetorical question?
I’ll answer it anyways.
Salvation is dependent on believing the promises of God. Or if you want to use other words, accepting God’s grace—his undeserved kindness—by faith.
God’s promises are described in Scripture, so reading the Bible and believing it can lead a soul to salvation and eternal life.
Hearing the Word preached and believing in the promises of God is another way.
Being baptized and believing in the promise given is another way.
Receiving Holy Communion and believing in the promise given is another way.
But when someone refuses to allow you access to the Word of God and the promises contained therein, I, at least, can get pretty darn suspicious of that person’s motives. Why would you deny someone the Word of God unless you were intent on pulling them away from it?
>>How are Catholics that despise this SOB handling these pronouncements?
Those with a proper understanding of the Catholic Church and its history, and the Catholic Faith, are embarrassed and disappointed that this fool has become the Pope. On the other hand, they know that the Pope, whether saint or sinner, is NOT the Church or the Faith. See post #145.
