As President Trump pointed out the other day, his popularity is 50 percent nationwide and it should be higher than that in Georgia’s 6th District.
Embracing the president was the key to embracing victory in this race and to the extent Karen Handel wins or loses will be testimony to her embracing of the POTUS.
I understand she kept him at arms length until the end and she did that at her own peril.
Virginia sadly elects her share of losers, too.

1/3 Establishment Republican
1/3 Democrat
Happens all the time in Rep primary, 1/3 behind establishment, conservatives split to about 4 others so the establishment rhino wins
I voted Handel today with hopes to vote her out in a year & half.

Twitter guy (@mrbeercrusher) who was very accurate in predicting states based on his “sources” is projecting Handel with 52%. That’s a winner if he’s right.

In spite of what you heard, Tom Price won his reelection with 61.6% of the vote only seven months ago.

follow the money. CNN FNC MSNBC desperately need this to justify political advertising costs.
If this fails then the money will not pay for advertising.

The 6th district has been voting for Handel for years. She won the 6th District when she ran for Sec. of State, Governor and the Senate. As soon as she declared herself a candidate for the 6th district congressional seat she had the lead.
I hate the NYT, but I agree. Their website has the best election result coverage that I have ever seen on the web.
Unfortunately, the progressive wing of the GOP has shown they prefer Democrats to patriot Conservatives.
Trump, Pence and Isaacson have all supported Handel.. They’ve either come here or added radio messages.
