The European Union launched legal action Tuesday against Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic over their refusal to take refugees.
The case stems from a decision to relocate 160,000 migrants proportionally across the EU. Hungary and Poland have refused to take a single refugee under the plan while the Czech Republic let in 12.
EU is now launching infringement procedures, arguing the three countries are violating their obligations as member states.
“Regrettably, despite … repeated calls, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, in breach of their legal obligations stemming … and their commitments to Greece, Italy and other member states, have not yet taken the necessary action,” the European Commission said in a statement. “Against this background … the Commission has decided to launch infringement procedures against these three Member States.”
The European Court of Justice will decided whether the countries failed to meet their obligations. A financial penalty may be imposed if the countries continue to refuse the quotas after a ruling in favor of the EU.
Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said his country has no intention to reverse its immigration policies any time soon.
“With regard to the worsened security situation in Europe and dysfunctionality of the quota system, it will not participate in it,” Sobotka said after EU’s announcement, according to Reuters.
This is the power Obama wanted to give the UN for climate change.
This may help the stereotype of the Poles being stupid.
Just put up a sign at the border saying “No room at the Inn; Closed Indefinitely” is arab or whatever language the refugees speak. Things are supposed to be getting better in Syria. Time for them to go home anyway.
Better yet- all immigrants coming into our country must take a bath in bacon before entry and commit to eating nothing but ham the rest of their lives-

These “refugees” have a gold rush mentality. They have an unrealistic image of Germany being a country where streets are paved with gold. That is why they are going to Europe. If they suddenly find themselves in a country like Poland they’re just going to try for Sweden or Germany again or go back to their homeland. Only way to keep them in Poland would be to imprison them.
The Czechs will regret letting in those 12 Muzzies, if they don’t already.
I think it is already confirmed that these 12 just hopped on a bus and went to Germany. Czech Republic also gave asylum to 60 Syrian Christians. All of them went to Germany too.

How can western Europe fix itself if it reaches a critical mass of population that’s African, Middle Eastern, Turkish, and/or Muslim? Once that critical point is reached, those populations will not assimilate and will overwhelm their new homes. Example....London now has a scary-sounding Muslim mayor.
They should NEVER pay ANYTHING for their national sovereignty and for defense of their citizens from the evil that is Islam.

London has its own problems with Muslims that have nothing to do with the EU. UK just allowed immigration from their former Empire. Their Muslim Mayor is a Pakistani, whose parents were allowed to immigrate because Pakistan used to be part of the British Empire.
There is no critical mass yet in Europe. What needs to be done is to stop allowing the boat people in. Take them to some uninhabited island or to some African country instead of Europe and the boats stop coming. Then deport those who are already here.
That kind of proposals were called “Nazi” few years ago, but are now the mainstream view in Europe. That is why I am somewhat optimistic.
It is “AND Muslim” for that critical mass of population .

Trump should immediately announce a special trade deal for these three countries to bolster their resolve. I don’t know if the EU could cripple their economies but the US should make it known that they have an ally that shares their disdain for the Brussels bullies.
The EU will withhold their share of the money from the TV deal they signed.
Possibly not allow them to play post season.
