In the wake of the Scalise shooting, Fareed Zakaria hosted a segment on his CNN show this morning devoted to addressing how Republicans and Democrats can stop their "internecine struggle" and "reconcile." Two of the guests bought into the premise, discussing the challenges involved and possible approaches to reconciliation.
But the third guest, Jill Abramson, who was fired in 2014 as executive editor of the New York Times, was having none of the kumbaya. To the contrary, she decried a supposed "false equivalency" between Democrats and Republicans.
Abramson put the blame on Republicans for the divisive political climate and accused them of "benefiting from a kind of rage machine that operates in this country."

Remember the “Occupy where ever” movement trying to get young rich liberals to camp out in the streets and violently occupy business and government? That failed.
Then there were the “Black Lives Matter” movement that destroyed cities both from riots and “de-policing.”
You would not believe the violent content on progressive blogs and social media (Know your enemy). The ones I monitor are all about violence and confrontation.
Have Conservatives had enough and are they starting to push back? Yes. Even the NRA has a message about there will come a time for armed citizens to stand up and fight with a “clenched fist.”

I live in Southern CA. South Orange County to be exact.
I have “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates on my Dodge Challenger. I’ve had them on the Car for almost a year.
Outside of being flipped off a few times, so far, so good.
Most of the time I get Thumbs up and a whole lot of people taking pictures of the Plate when I’m stopped at a Traffic Light.
Last week a guy told me he loved the Plate and asked me if I had a Conceal Carry Permit. He was serious.
My Wife is getting increasingly concerned about my safety with all the Liberal / Democrat Hatred and Lawlessness going on.
You got lucky.
Now look on the flip side: WE are not cutting him off, we want him in our lives, me and the rest of my family completely respect other peoples political views and would NEVER cut off people for it.
You should never speak his name again, and destroy all pictures of him.

My parents cut him out of their will so he’s only screwing himself. My mother is beyond furious with him, the final straw was not even a call on Mothers day. I wrote him an email saying to ignore his own mother on mothers day is as low as it gets, I would never ever ever even think of doing that in a million years even if she killed someone and was doing time in prison, I would still send her a mothers day card and he is ignoring her because she has a different political point of view from his? He never wrote back to me. He doesn’t answer any text messages, calls. He only speaks to my Aunt because she is a Democrat and we had her call him up to verify if he was still alive, that’s how bad it got. Oh and my Aunt is no longer a Democrat. She is absolutely disgusted by not only his behavior but the rest of the Rats. It’s absolutely a cult now.

They did more than scream and yell, they have been violently attacking people, blocking streets, vandalizing stores, engaging in talk of assassination, acting out assassination fantasies with the beheading to POTUS to the play in NYC which has lead to an actual assassination.
And on top of that we had talk about the electoral college being scrapped, recounts in a few battleground states to try and flip the results, and not it’s RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA. It’s just another tactic, it’s not legit.
All of this and DJT has only been in office FIVE months this coming Tuesday. That’s it FIVE months and look at what they’ve done and said.
And the media was never honest about these Antifa BLM type of “protestors” at all.
Never even heard the name ANTIFA on certain cable news networks.
Only when the other side fights back to do they cover it saying “FAR RIGHT WING” protestors clashed with Trump protestors.

Here’s the thing; most people in the real American understand this.
Trust me, the left has not seen rage from Americans yet. Our dials are still set to reason at this point. However further assassination will move that dial rapidly past rage to a formal declaration of war.
Americans do not operate in rage, that is counter productive. Only sheeple stampede. Leftists are sheeple. Their rage is their leash.
