I have to write about Philando Castile, the 32-year-old black man who was shot and killed by a Minnesota police officer last July. I have to compose myself, sit at this laptop and write something profound about another black life taken by a police officer, another officer found not guilty for killing a black person.

Actually, there’s very little justice for anyone in this country that’s killed by a cop. Just saying...
Same thing as parents today: “my kid right or wrong” when the kid hasn’t been parented properly and goes wild, injuring others or committing property damage... “my kid wouldn’t do THAT!!”
In my day my parents would IMMEDIATELY ask me: “what did YOU do?” if I dared complained about a situation at school or elsewhere.
Well unless, of course, "they needed killin' ".
None of those things should be a death sentence. A guy who tells the cop he has a gun is not a threat. The cop screwed up, he’s a trigger happy moron. The jury screwed up, they got snowed by the usual “cops are awesome” BS. Period. This was murder, and he got away with it.
OJ and Cos got off
“The world is a better place without Philando Castile.”
I won’t judge Castile as a person, even though I know about his gang ties. Maybe you know more about him?
The video I saw looked like Castile was complying with the LEO commands when he was shot.
Plus, the reason for the stop is contested.
Imho, the officer appeared out of control.
Bad shoot.

Cops are jumpy. I wonder why...
Could it be the case of the cop in Ferguson, beaten for having the audacity to warn a Black man walking down the middle of the street, that it was dangerous to do so? “Go to the sidewalk!” “Why that jerk cop, I think I’ll kill him. How dare he treat me that way because I’m black!”
Could it be the cops who have been executed on site by Blacks?
Could it be a certain incident where a Chicano was having his head smashed against the sidewalk, until he shot his assailant?
Hmmm, what could it be. I can’t think of a reason. Can you?
Blacks sell drugs on street corners, then wonder why so many are arrested for selling drugs. Why it’s so unfair.
Blacks are involved in a high level of crime and are arrested for it. Why it’s so unfair.
Blacks commit a massive percentage of the murders in the United States. Why it’s so unfair they are arrested and convicted of these murders.
Cops are highly suspicious when pulling a Black man over. I still can’t figure out why. /s
Blacks, if you want to be pulled over less often, don’t want to be convicted of crimes, don’t want to be over-represented in our prisons, then ask your buds to stop committing crimes. Stop committing them yourself.
When the crime rate in Black areas falls to the crime rate of White areas, the pullover rates will come close to parity.
Who knew?
There’s never a rocket scientist around when Blacks need them. Just one more societal racial bias they have to deal with.
And yet, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
It takes an absence of the MSM, and Democrats running for election.
> You made that up. <
No. There is audio of the stop. Of course, audio can be doctored. So one can never be sure.
> Reaching for anything but the steering wheel when a cop pointing a gun at you is yelling keep your hands on the wheel is decidedly bad for your health. <
You betcha. The problem here is that Castile was given conflicting orders. He got confused.
> At that point your skin color has little bearing as his finger is on the trigger, and bullets are color blind <
Again, you betcha. A number of years ago, a white guy was shopping in a large store (a WalMart?). He was carrying concealed legally. Another shopper saw his gun, got frightened, and called the police. The police gave the man conflicting orders. The man got confused and made a “suspicious” move. The cops shot him to death.
I believe that happened in Nevada, but I could be wrong. Maybe some Freeper in the know can provide a link.
Anyway, innocent people should not die just because they get confused under pressure. There has got to be a better way.
Depends on where you get the jury.
Google Bronx Jury...
“Basically a my race, right or wrong attitude”
Yes, but it’s more than that. The book that I quoted is about the race grievance industry. It exposes the players and the played.
There’s no money to be made from the deaths of black people at the hands of other black people. That’s just a daily occurrence and accepted for what it is.
The jackpot is when a black person, regardless of their background, dies at the had of a white person or a blue one (police).
That is the hypocrisy of the whole race grievance industry. And to even point this out invites blacklash.
It was a Costco. The guy killed was Erik Scott. He was a West Point graduate and Army veteran. He was killed because some idiot in the store saw his LEGALLY carried firearm (which was accidentally exposed) and freaked out.
“Jurors dont fall for the medias war on the police.”
All the same, I’d like to know what brought about the jury’s decision.
It’s tragic that Castile was killed, but I’ll go with the jury over your indictment for murder since they certainly had a wider and more thorough view of the case than either you or me.
Even the prosecutor wasn’t going for a murder conviction, by the way. He was tried for felony manslaughter, a lesser offense.
As for your assertion that “a guy who tells a cop he has a gun is not a threat,” I’m betting most law officers would disagree with you on that one, though I could be wrong.
Thanks. I should have added and her cohorts. I believe from now on that I will. Have a nice one and a happy Father’s Day to you.
I just realized that all the people I named were black criminals...except for one, and she probably thinks she's black.
happy Fathers Day
Thank you, and the same to you.
Not a word form these pinheads about the thousands of blacks killed by blacks, hundreds in Chicago, alone.
Always “victims” never perpetrators
No wonder the ghetto is at the bottom of the socio economic barrel. And avoided by everyone, even the hypocritical white liberals. Like those white masters, it’s always someone else’s fault
Right because we all know that juries are 100% and have never acquitted an obviously guilty man.
Felony manslaughter IS murder. It’s not murder 1, but it’s still murder.
I’ve had traffic stops when armed, I told the cop I had a gun, all was handled nice and calm. That’s the point of telling the cop, to establish that you are not a threat and we can all be calm about this.
