Special counsel Robert Mueller has brought 13 lawyers on board to handle the Russia investigation, with plans to hire more, according to his spokesman Peter Carr. Mueller has assembled a high-powered team of top investigators and leading experts, including seasoned attorneys who've represented major American companies in court and who have worked on cases ranging from Watergate to the Enron fraud scandal.
Among them are James Quarles and Jeannie Rhee, both of ( whom Mueller brought over from his old firm, WilmerHale.) He's also hired Andrew Weissmann, who led the Enron investigation.

This is absolutely ridiculous. There is no need to hire a phalanx of Democrat lawyers. It is obvious that the swamp is setting up the framework for Watergate II.
How “Republicans” are not screaming to terminate this obvious set up is beyond me. This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Everyone knows what the outcome is going to be, but everyone is watching and taking video with their smart phones.

i get the feeling that Mueller is baiting Trump in hopes that Trump will fire him and then they can show some kind of Nixonian tie to the firing of Archibald Cox in hopes of triggering an impeachment article.
As much as I’d like to see Trump fire him, I think he should just let this play out. Trump has not committed any crime. He had an absolute right to tell the FBI to lay off Flynn. He didn’t even do that.

Trump should end the Special Counsel.
Rosenstein’s appointment of the Special Counsel violated the regulations, which required that there be a criminal investigation.
A “link with Russia” is not a crime, and a Special Counsel may not initiate an investigation into non-criminal matters in hopes of later coming across a crime to investigate.
This is an investigation of persons, not an investigation of crimes. Such use of legal power is deeply un-American and smacks of the old Soviet bloc.
