On Wednesday Republican Representative Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, and two Capitol Police were shot during baseball practice in Alexandria.
Scalise was shot in the hip and tried to drag himself off the field after he was hit.
The shooter, James T. Hodgkinson was a Bernie supporter who was obsessed with Trump-Russia conspiracy theories. He is now dead.
Hodgkinson asked lawmakers, “Are those Republicans or Democrats?” before gunning down Rep. Scalise and his security detail.
Despite the shooting of Republicans the annual Congressional Baseball Game was held last night in Washington DC.
Before the game players from both teams went on the field and kneeled in prayer. It was a special moment.

What CNN has done is very disturbing and disgusting...if it hadn't been for having ‘protection’ there at that practice, we might have lost everyone there, and this filth, vile, evil ‘hitler propaganda’ fake news to do this just shows us how low our lives are in this country...
Do they think this is going to ‘over turn’ the valid, legal election of the United States? Do they think this is going to influence any of the Trump Supporters or those that voted for him? If either one of these are their cause in the crap they are doing, forgetaboutit...it isn't going to happen and it just makes President Trump's base even stronger...
A lot of people in this Country should stop and think how many of us Americans are fed up to the gills of the crap that has been going on since Nov. 8th...if they knew just how we really feel and the weapons we each have, they should sit down and really consider if this is the ‘hill they want to die on’ because it isn't going to take much more to let them see that ISIS is a pussy cat compared to what we will do...
That wasn't a threat, that was a fact...people have reached their limits over this crap, it's time to lay it down, liberals and media and think about what it is your getting yourself into...

I don’t even like baseball, but I am awed that our congress got out there and stood for children in the face of evil. Loudermilk spoke of congressional Bilble studies and prayer groups. I am very encouraged by this.
Members of both teams gathered on the field before the Congressional Baseball Game to pray and hold a moment of silence. The game took place one day after the GOP team was targeted by a gunman while practicing.
The Republicans were actually praying to God. The Democrats were praying to the media gods that they would spin this into a positive photo-op for them. CNN-GOG answered their prayers.

I personally think that CNN and other fake news MSM outlets are working on creating a stockpile for the midterms, so that all the dem candidates can draw on all of these “news” items, to use in their campaigns. If it is not outright collusion with the DNC, then I don’t know what is.
The worst part of it is that there are SO MANY who take the news from (such as) CNN, NBC, et al, and assume it is accurate and that the POTUS really is corrupt and evil.
We have a lot to overcome in this communications and fake news war. People ON OUR SIDE have reached their limits, but there are far too many, who are not on our side, who either completely believe all this crap or believe it is okay to deceive, to advance their cause.
