A whopping $7.4 trillion will be spent globally on new green energy facilities in the coming decades, but another $5.3 trillion is needed to meet the goals of the Paris climate accord, according to a new report.
Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) is out with a new long-term energy outlook report, this time projecting a total of $12.7 trillion to keep projected global warming below 2 degrees Celsius by the end of the century — a goal of the Paris accord.
BNEF projects $7.4 trillion will be invested in new green energy capacity by 2040, and that global carbon dioxide emissions will be 4 percent lower in that year than in 2016.
But that’s not enough to keep projected warming below 2 degrees, the report warns.
BNEF says a “further $5.3 trillion investment in 3.9 [terawatts] of zero-carbon capacity would be consistent with keeping the planet on a 2-degrees-C trajectory,” according to an excerpt of the report obtained by Axios.
President Donald Trump announced U.S. withdrawal from the Paris accord in early June, arguing it would hurt American workers by transferring wealth from them to economic competitors, like China and India.
“This agreement is less about the climate and more about other countries gaining a financial advantage over the United States,” Trump.

There are good (and large) estimates for how many people die every year because they don’t have energy for refrigeration, communications, transportation, etc. These estimates are much better science than future temperature estimates (the number of deaths matches observation unlike temperature models)
A lot of this money will go to leaders/dictators/presidents to ensure that millions of people who can be scientifically observed/counted/estimated reliably do not get access to life-saving energy because of temperatures projections which cannot be observed/counted/estimated reliably. But Al Gore isn’t about to take even minor chances with his beachfront property no matter how many people it kills (besides, carbon trading could make Gore billions so screw everyone else).

That’s almost $2k for each person on earth. For the Ctrl-Left to pretend the alleged one degree temperature difference, even if true, is worth that much money is insane. Of course, most things from the far left fringe are crazy, so this is not a surprise.
Misguided state lawmakers foolishly gave up the voices of the state legislatures in Congress when they ratified that amendment, effectively repealing the whole Constitution by doing so imo.

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.
Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.
In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.
Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.
While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.
Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.
Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

What do we get for 12.7 trillion? Several hundredths of a degree reduced temperature. In other words, NOTHING! Trump was right to cancel this idiotic deal.
There are few greater folly’s than demanding the climate be static.
