How did he get to the ballfield...did he drive? Taxi? How did he get from Illinois to DC? And how long has he been in DC? And of course, how was this guy from Illinois knowledgeable about the time and location of this practice?

I don’t want to connect inappropriate dots, but one article said Hodginson was FB ‘friends’ with the manager of a branch of an Alexandria City library. THO, to be fair, information about where the teams practice and play would be pretty easy to find out for someone interested enough to pursue it, as he did. The “big game” scheduled for tomorrow is/was a fundraiser for a charity, so there was probably a lot of publicity and information readily available.
They practice there all the time. It's no secret.
Nevertheless, I'm sure he wasn't the 'lone wolf' the media will undoubtedly make him out to be. Not being around there, I would believe that he had help.
