Nicely stated.
I assume a lefty, or we would have a name.
This will be the story the nets run with. Notice no description of the shooter in this one....only that a gun was used
99.99999% (or more) of violent criminal are liberal demoncraps, I’d wager.
When I was an infantry squad member, at various times, I was qualified and carried the following weapons: M14 Rifle, M79 Grenade Launcher, M45 Pistol, M14 Fully Automatic Rifle and M60 Machine Gun and I never heard of an “Assault Pistol”. The pistol I carried when I lugged the M60 was a defensive weapon, not in any way an assault weapon.
They are basically SBR’s (Short-barreled rifles). AR’s or AK’s with 7” barrels with the buttstocks removed. And FWIW, SBR’s are illegal in CA.
An assault pistol or an assault rifle is one of those gun-like things that makes loud bangy sounds. As opposed to a regular gun that goes pew pew.
I don’t know what an assault pistol is, but you can’t own one in CA, so this story must be false.
You’d need extra stripper clips. IIRC the Broomhandle had a fixed magazine and was loaded via stripper clips. Interesting is that if you have the wooden holster/shoulder stock accessory for it, attaching the stock makes it a short-barreled rifle and that’s a big no-no. Most famous use in film is probably the Eastwood movie “Joe Kid”. Or is that “Joe Kidd”?
Legally, an “assault pistol” is basically an “assault weapon” (AR15, AK47S, etc) with short barrel and no stock.
That being the case, I guess I have a safe full of “assault pistols”...
Did it have assault bullets in it and was it carried in an assault holster? Was the shooter wearing an assault T-shirt too?
Those things are stupefyingly loud.
“an assault pistol? what the heck is that??”
