My trauma first aid is pretty limited, but I am not sure how you would tourniquet a hip shot. But pressure on the spot is the universal first step.

I’d put main stream media (e.g. The New York Slimes, The Washington Compost, CNN etc at the top of that list)

You should also evaluate your neighbors... as to which ones would support you, which ones might come after you, and which ones would simply try to lie low and hide from it all.

Perhaps start forming neighborhood watch with like-minded people, with the idea of banding together when SHTF. Also assess which direction the local law enforcement is liable to go in.

A hip wound would not be treatable with a tourniquet. Likely it was treatment for an extremity wound to a different victim.

Scalise trying to drag himself off field, two aids being shot at laying on the ground, one sprinted over 20ft wall where Rand was on the other side at batting cage. Brooks used tourniquet on Scalise?, Rand suggesting ar-15 and reloading? (pauses).
