PBS Newshour anchor Judy Woodruff posted to Twitter Monday evening that Chris Ruddy, CEO of Newsmax, told her that President Donald Trump is “”considering perhaps terminating” Robert Mueller as special counsel”.
Former FBI Director Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last month to investigate alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Recent reports indicate that Mueller is looking to expand his investigation to include the decision to fire his successor as FBI director, James Comey.
GQ described Mueller’s hiring for the investigation as a “Murderer’s Row of Prosecutors” and “men and women responsible for bringing down Nixon, Enron, and the mafia.”
No crimes have been alleged to have been committed, nor has President Trump been accused of any crimes. Comey testified last week that he had told Trump several times before he was fired that Trump was not under investigation.

Ruddy’s comment was not anything definitive. “I think he’s considering perhaps terminating...”

Fire Mueller.
Of course he should be fired. There was no reason to hire him. He IS Swamp.
Investigate Mueller for collusion with Comey and likely other reptiles of the Deep Swamp.
It is insanity to allow this to proceed.
And send Rosenstein with them.
He was no novice. He knew exactly who Mueller was.
How about hiring another famous prosecutor: Rudy Giuliani?
Keep him on and let him do his worse, and Trump can publicly fight him with his own bully pulpit, just as Clinton did to Ken Starr.
I thought of Rudy too but he was a part of Trump’s campaign. Would we agree to Podesta investigating Hillary? To be honest I racked my brain and can’t think of anyone neutral. Maybe Joe Lieberman?

I NEVER understood the DOJ appointing a special prosecutor for the Trump Russia investigation.
There is NO EVIDENCE. What is a special prosecutor supposed to prosecute when there is no evidence? That is what stunk to me. If there is no evidence of any wrong-doing, then a special prosecutor can only be a fishing expedition.
This stunk from the beginning.
Also, how is it Trump’s own DOJ allowed this?????

Two journalists have a gossip session and one of the writes a breaking news story. Wind is the only thing breaking here. If Trump was “thinking” this, why would the CEO of Newsmax be the only person that knows it? I’ve seen more mature and respectable behavior from kindergarten classes.

Actually what Sessions needs to do is have Mueller focus on the Clinton Foundation, Russian uranium and Benghazi. Leave him there for 4 years and put someone loyal to Trump in the DOJ on Mueller’s team.

Great post and I agree with everything you said. Fire Mueller...the democrats will howl like demons swimming in a lake of holy water but who the hell cares? They've been howling like mad banshees since November 9th.
Mueller’s appointment by Rosenstein calls into question Rosenstein himself. Drain the swamp!
Nope - That would be like firing Comey controversy on steroids. The media is already comparing this to Watergate. People will assume he’s guilty, and his poll numbers will go even lower.
He needs the GOP Congressmen/Senators and surrogates to put pressure on this and continually beat the drums that Mueller is friends with Comey AND is bringing in Democrat donors.
I think Sessions will deliver the coup de grace to a lot of leftist-globalist dreams.
