Forbes is reporting that Jennifer Lawrence's survived her private jet performing an emergency landing after losing both its engines. Yikes!
JLaw's plane, which departed from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, lost one of its engines at 31,000 feet. The pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York, but then things got even scarier when the second engine shut down.

I expect you are right. It’s been over 30 years since I last flew but I still know where my E6B, my log book, and my fuel check tool are.
Like I said pitting happens and in that case it happened—not catestrophic engine failure (in aviation catestrophic failure mean pieces-parts disintegration).
It's certainly possible that you're more courageous...more of an optimist...than me but I consider what happened to British Airways Flight 9 to be catastrophic.
Well. . . Being a former A10 and F-15e fighter pilot, with combat time, things are pretty boring most times, and losing an engine makes for an interesting day. But hey, what’s life without adrenaline-—boring.
