It is my opinion that any decision from today’s courts would eviscerate the Art. II Sec. 1 requirement and open the Presidency up to almost everyone with any tangential claim of US citizenship from birth, including Anwar Al Awlaki’s kids born in Yemen.
You’re absolutely right to underscore the significance of the Connecticut SS#. I read that while it was possible, for $, to register a non-HI birth as an actual HI birth, the one thing you couldn’t get was a HI SS#. That had to be arranged separately.
It was entertaining, back in the day, to hear all the Obots chattering about a “fat-fingered clerk,” who had mistyped Obama’s HI SS#. Of course that never happened. Receiving an out of state SS# was part and parcel of being illicitly registered as an HI birth.
READ what I just posted. Anne Dunham was his mother. Anne Dunham was an American citizen. Ergo he was a “natural born citizen” regardless of where he was born. He was not a naturalized citizen. Unless Dunham was not his mother and both parents were non citizens, he is natural born. Go after him on all the other stuff.

One citizen parent born in a foreign country is not a natural born citizen.
Every child born to indigenous mothers from US GI fathers would be eligible to be President when many are not even eligible to be citizens.
Born here of citizen parents = natural born citizen.
Children of foreign nationals are not naturally US citizens when they can be something else because of their foreign national parent.
If you remember me from some time ago, then you may recall that I was all in for the Kenyan birth scenario. Three things changed my mind. A, the fact that, had Stanley Ann resided in Kenya during her pregnancy, ***someone*** would remember her; someone always does.
2, It’s completely illogical and nonsensical to imagine SA would have gone from Kenya to Seattle. She had nothing in Seattle. She had a couple of friends in Mercer Island, and everyone else was in HI. Were she to have undertaken the arduous and wildly expensive flight from Kenya to HI, she’d have stayed there. Traveling on alone with a very young baby to Seattle, once again at great expense, is out of the question.
Finally, the reason everyone thinks Obama was born in Kenya is because he starting telling that story in elementary school and kept it up. He’s a pathological liar, don’t forget. After he’d told the story long enough, it became widely believed. Hence, the confusion over that point which lingers to this day.

You seem to be unaware of Ms. Dunham’s status under federal law of 1961. She was a juvenile whose parents had renounced their American citizenship as had she. There is no record that she ever took steps to reinstate citizenship. Barry Soerto went to college as a foreign student. Read the law as it was before you try this kind of defense. That said, and ignoring Obama’s allusions to being born in Kenya while he was an Illinois state senator, the argument over his eligibility began with Hillary’s sour grapes in 2007. The veracity of her claim still remains an open question.
