Still, I think the Left may be sensing that they really cannot win this game. No crime means no crime. At this point, the only thing the Democrats can do is lose — if the investigation widens, if Loretta Lynch appears before congress, if Hillary’s emails are pursued, etc., etc.

They can’t get Trump. But they can get themselves.

The smart Democrats (there may be 1 or 2) see the hole and now want to stop digging.

The numbers I have seen in the past, and they may be outdated but:

Conservative 40

Moderate 40

Liberal 20

The key to Liberal power is deceiving enough of the mushy moderates (Conservatives are racist, want to starve children, push grandma off a cliff, etc.)

Plus many Liberals claim to be Moderate even though all of their political positions are liberal.

They can get over it after he wins again in 2020.

I don’t see Trump as able to sustain the restrained non-answers for hour after hour the way the Clinton Crime Family has done. Keep him away from testimony.

No, it was over when you saw the faces in that bar. And the most beautifuk thing is DT played along for 5 months like it was a real thing, ALL THE WHILE his teams were quietly & secretly engaging in a real “fundamental transformation of America “

Okay. Last night we had CNN posting an Op Ed that somewhat resembles this post. Interesting that the MSM is allowing “dissent” from their narrative. I’m curious to see what this is leading to.

Thanks for posting that. You saved me some time.

The question of the day is: Is this a trend or a one-off?

They ficticiously started Russia thing the day after Hildebeast lost, all BS and they knew it.

It started during Hillary's campaign. She invented the story to distract from her own pay-for-play arrangements with Russia.

In order to advance her campaign, there was an investigation of Trump's alleged ties with Russia long before the election. In October, there was a small, two paragraph article stating that the investigation had found nothing. Judging by the timing, it looks like the investigation was supposed to produce an October surprise. I cannot find the article again, because of all that has happened since then, the Google search results turn up thousands of hits with my search terms.

Once Hillary lost the election, this monster that started as her irresponsible and self-serving campaign claim was fed by the media and the DNC until it reached mammoth proportions. Unfortunately, it is costing taxpayers millions of dollars, which is inexcusable. There is no justification to conduct investigations (i.e. witch hunts) when there is no evidence of a crime.

I’d say its a little too late for that, those people a absolutely certifiable INSANE! If it’s not THEIR way, there is no other.

I think you may be right.

It is heartening and encouraging to witness how many Americans see beyond the false narratives and tantrums of the left.

It is heartening and encouraging to witness how strong the support for truth and for President Trump is, in spite of the powerful propaganda against them.

I was amazed and relieved, during the recent Presidential Election, to discover that millions of people had seen through all the darkness, confusion, propaganda, and persuasion and had recognized the truth in spite of the powerful forces seeking to obscure and even destroy it.

Whether truth and decency will prevail, whether or not a sufficient number of people will remain on the side of the angels remain to be seen.

Pray for our nation and the people of the world and continue to speak truth as clearly and forcefully as you can.

Truth is powerful, as we have seen.

Whether or not it will be powerful enough to save us, to save all the people of the world, remains to be seen.

-- Ruh roh. When you've lost the Compost --

ComPost puts up both sides. The more prominent message from the ComPost is that Trump is being investigated by Mueller for obstruction of justice based on allegedly ordering Comey to drop the Flynn investigation.

Never mind that Comey -- who says he took Trump's remarks as a direct order, did everything he could to NOT carry out what he was ordered, did not inform Trump he was determined to be insubordinate, and made NO effort to whistleblow -- admits both that such an order would be legal, and that he leaked the order to the press in order to put a drag on Trump.

I’m an optimist

Muller is an American and that Trumps faux political loyalty. Mueller knows the score and rather than jump head first in the outhouse hole that is the Democrat party line, he will expose the truth and destroy all the obfuscation.

The Democrat party will be in jeopardy as will the presstitutes at the Old Gray Whore and the Compost.

Mueller is not a fool

No, it was over when you saw the faces in that bar.

Bears repeating. One of the most delicious images of crestfallen liberals since the Javits Center of election night was from the "Comey Watch Party" they held at this Brooklyn bar this past Thursday.

I believe this particular bar was going to provide a free round of drinks for every Trump Tweet during the Comey testimony. But alas, Trump's Twitter feed was silent as he was busy conducting the nation's business while Comey was doing damage only to himself and Democrats. At the end of the afternoon, they all had to pick up their own tabs.

If the bar had a sense of humor, they would have given everybody a hamburger bun with no meat inside of it. Because that's basically what Comey's testimony amounted to with regard to Trump.

Check out the below photo of these fools. They ditched work (if they worked at all) with high hopes of seeing the hated Trump brought down. But the devastated expressions on their faces tells the tale.

Russian narrative BTFO.

-- I'm also curious about Mueller and the Special Counsel investigation. It was inititated through Comey's deceit, now acknowledged. In other words, `There is no there, there". --

People naturally accept the narrative that SC exists because Comey leaked of Trump's "attempt to obstruct justice" (all shorthand, I am not accepting any of those characterizations as true).

I think that is a totally false narrative.

Just on a timeline basis, Mueller was appointed before "Trump obstructed justice" was known. There never was a "Trump obstruction" investigation opened.

Mueller's charter is to take up and finish the FBI investigations that touch on connections between Team Trump and the Russian government. And of course, any few places those investigations might lead, which I imagine aren't many if any.

So why would the FBI boot those investigations out of the FBI, and to Mueller? I think because Rosenstein won't be trusted to carry out the investigations started by Comey, because Rosenstein could be viewed as triggering the firing of Comey. That's the conflict of interest in the FBI. I also think Rosenstein didn't want the hot potato of eventually declaring a clean bill. The press is going to attack whoever gives anybody on the Trump team a clean bill.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, but I am also mindful that MANY supposedly "most objective" appointments, and I am thinking about judges, are THE MOST PARTISAN players in our government. They just try to hide that with legal mumbo-jumbo.

He knows the stakes, but I don't know which team he is playing on. I don't think he has a care in the world about his own credibility, and in fact, those who have the most credibility are often called on and do perpetrate the most outrageous offenses against truth, logic, and law. Build up a reservoir of good faith, then spend it.
