Comey: A Six-Foot, Eight-Inch Pajama Boy
American Thinker ^ | June 9, 2017 | Patricia McCarthy

Posted on 06/09/2017 3:49:36 AM PDT by Vlad The Inhaler

Aside from revealing that President Trump is guilty of exactly nothing but winning an election, James Comey sure did reveal a lot about himself. His feelings are easily hurt, he gets scared in Trump's presence, he gets nauseated, is weak, gets confused and stunned. He is sorry his workforce had to hear what Trump said about the FBI, that it is in disarray. He sounded like a college snowflake on almost any American college campus in need of a safe space.

After a lifetime as a lawyer, U.S. attorney for the Southern District, U.S. deputy district attorney, and corporate lawyer, this is a man who never should have been appointed as director of the FBI. He does not have the temperament for the job. We learned yesterday that he unlawfully leaked his own memo, property of the FBI, to the press to "spur a special prosecutor" and cover his own backside. Why not turn it over to acting director McCabe or the DOJ? Because he's malicious. He likely leaked a whole lot more to the press that is so in love with anonymous sources. The guy was positively Machiavellian in his attempt to smear Trump and protect himself. But Machiavelli would not be proud; Comey was too clever by half. He essentially admitted that Trump had done nothing wrong beyond making Comey uncomfortable, being a compassionate man regarding Michael Flynn, and not using the approved vernacular or prescribed handshake of the D.C. establishment.

Man, Comey really was pathetic yesterday, wasn’t he? That “I wasn’t strong enough” answer with his eyebrows furrowed and a quavering voice was the worst. I can’t believe how hard he worked to make himself out to be a victim. Such a typical leftist strategy.

Rather fascinating when you understand that he could have maintained his dignity and his “reputation for integrity” if he had just faded away!!

BUT NO! Our President was right again! He’s a “SHOWBOAT” and loves the attention, though was curiously blatant about how self-serving rather than President-serving he has been in the past.

Honestly, his story has all the elements of a Greek tragedy, especially ironic when you realize his hero is Reinhold Niebuhr.......who wrote The Serenity Prayer.....

Statement from President Trump's Lawyer:

"Mr. Comey admitted that he unilaterally and surreptitiously made unauthorized disclosures to the press of privileged communications with the President.

The leaks of this privileged information began no later than March 2017 when friends of Mr. Comey have stated he disclosed to them the conversations he had with the President during their January 27, 2017 dinner and February 14, 2017 White House meeting.

Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he leaked to friends his purported memos of these privileged conversations, one of which he testified was classified.

He also testified that immediately after he was terminated he authorized his friends to leak the contents of these memos to the press in order to “prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The last one listed involves CONSPIRACY, with multiple people, against the U.S. Government.
Comey is going to prison. And I hope he rolls over on The Cankle too!
On January 6th, Comey sends others away so he can meet alone with Trump and that is perfectly acceptable and appropriate.
However, President’s Trump’s decision to meet with Comey alone on January 27th and February 14th was either peculiar or completely inappropriate.
Riiiight.
Comey knows what is in the FBI files of every member of that committee....
Probably gave copies to his buddy Daniel Richman.....
THEY ARE ALL TERRIFIED OF HIM AND RIGHTLY SO. This is straight out of Hillary’s playbook.
As I posted elsewhere, a few minutes ago:
To really put the implied Comey rationalization--that he was trying to protect the institution from improper pressure from the President--into perspective, one must recognize the obvious, incontrovertible fact: As President, Donald Trump could pardon General Flynn for any infraction--just as Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon; just as Clinton & Obama pardoned people who most of us would have allowed to rot. (I am not suggesting in any way that Ford was not right to pardon Richard Nixon. I certainly would have done the same.)
Viewed in the context of this reality, there is no rational reason to view an expression of "hope" from the President, on behalf of General Flynn, as anything more serious than a frank courtesy to Comey. That Comey--who admitted to being intimidated by Loretta Lynch!--saw it as some sort of threat, is a sorry commentary on Comey, not the President.
Conservative activists should point out the key factor--the absolute right of the President to pardon--at every opportunity, until those trying to make a mountain out of a courtesy crawl back under their rocks!
Under him, what happened with Benghazi, the SS mess, Fast and Furious, Hillary’s computer, the Clinton foundation? It looks like under him, the feds haven’t done much. Trump should have fire him on day one, as it was obvious then that Comey was inept.
Maybe the Clintons have some dirt on him, perhaps through the FBI files Hillary illegally obtained a couple decades ago? Maybe he's a closet poofter?
White House FBI files controversy
The revelations provoked a strong political and press reaction because many of the files covered White House employees from previous Republican administrations, including top presidential advisors.
Under criticism, Livingstone resigned from his position.
Allegations were made that senior White House figures, including First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, may have requested and read the files for political purposes, and that the First Lady had authorized the hiring of the underqualified Livingstone.”
Well, hopefully Trump’s pitbull lawyer will make hay of Comey’s legal mistakes.
I can’t keep track.
How many laws did he violate to assuage his “hurt” feelings?
Looks to me like he had an “intent.”
Rather fascinating when you understand that he [Comey] could have maintained his dignity and his “reputation for integrity” if he had just faded away!!
Exactly!
But he couldn't resist taking one more whack at the Pinata.
And in so doing he got an outcome the exact reverse of what he and the other Anti-Trumpers expected.
1. He impuned himself and destroyed his own credibility.
2. His lack of credibility and his demonstrated animosity to the president pretty much negates the impact of his accusations.
Here's the headline:
"Disgruntled Former Employee Calls Boss Who Fired Him A Liar"
3. Comey incriminated himself as a leaker.
Like a grade school tattletale motivated by his own petty personal concerns.
And in so doing he violated his oath of office, his honor, and the trust of the nation.
4. He COMPLETELY EXONERATED PRESIDENT TRUMP with regard to all the bogus accusations and tin-foil-hat fantasies about collusion or contact with Russia or Russians.
Feelings, he was speaking the liberal audience.
This way they only hear things that they can relate to.
Facts are not important, how did it make you FEEL?
Comey was appointed by Obama. That tells us all we need to know about Comey’s character. Obama would never appoint someone of high character who wouldn’t go along with a left-wing agenda. There was no integrity in Comey to begin with. The man is a weasel.
  “It is very telling that Comey’s co-leaker is a law professor at Columbia.”
According to Columbia, Daniel Richman that Comey refers to as just his pal was a legal adviser to Comey. Based on Comey’s testimony it seems to me that Comey was trying to cover for his involvement for a lot things that could get him into trouble. Frankly I can’t figure out why he voluntarily appeared before the commission in the first place. He certainly did not help the democRat’s Trump impeachment efforts and he got himself into a speculations regarding other “matters” !
Daniel Richman
“served as a consultant to the Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury on federal criminal matters.”
“He is currently an adviser to FBI Director James B. Comey. “
‘I think he truly is afraid of President Trump.’
If Comey’s not already afraid of Trump, now would be a good time to start:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump·4h
Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication...and WOW, Comey is a leaker!
Comey may be shrewd but he got in way over his head. He clearly got to many pins in the air to successfully juggle with his skill set. Pretty lame performance.
BTW Comey is a prime example of many of the people in high positions in DC. Barely keeping it together and in that role because of political favors.
