So, wait, when they're supposedly "popular" prior to the coalition government, when Nick Clegg was running a populist campaign against the establishment, they lose seats.

When they're supposedly "unpopular" under Tim Farron and have lost all credibility for being in a "coalition" government under Cameron, they gain seats.

Either the UK opinion polls are worthless, or british people are smoking some good stuff when they go vote.
