That’s crossed my mind too!
Agreed.
Of course they will
That’s like saying Alabama and Mississippi delegations likely to vote social conservative
I didn’t post anything because I thought the theory to be too conspiratorial. But, hey! Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction. Especially in politics.
Have to admit, with everything going on here in the US, haven't paid much attention to this Corbyn guy. After doing some cursory research on the web, the guy sounds like a complete disaster. He's a full on admitted communist with Marxist origins since the 70s. Sounds Bill Ayresesque.
What's wrong with the British people? Have they gone so far to the left that all they care about is free stuff? Remember Margaret Thatcher's classic, "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money." What about that is hard to understand?
Found this at Theresa May's Gamble Goes Bust
". . 68-year-old Jeremy Corbyn, an unreconstructed 1970s-vintage Marxist . . . Look at the guy! He made Bernie Sanders look mainstream by comparison. His platform called for investing half a trillion pounds in rebuilding Britain's industrial infrastructure, building millions of homes, making universities free, and re-nationalizing the country's railways, utilities and postal service. He proposed to pay for all that by hiking corporate tax rates from 17 to 26 percent and imposing punitive taxes on real estate and incomes over $100,000 a year."
This platform is straight out Marxism and parrots the communist manifesto.
Also, "Corbyn opposed the Falklands war and backed Fidel Castro, the IRA, and the PLO." . . " Youth turnout on Thursday appears to have been high." 'Nuf said.
France gone, now the UK? I guess we're going it alone. Fight on!
I watched his victory speech, his margin of victory was down to 10%, 50% to 40%.
He seemed to be licking his chops.
Yup....the map of Europe is going to be a bloody mess in the coming years as the Muslims advance. Poland needs to buck the EU over immigrants.
Fortunately the elites are happy to accommodate them.
GCMTA!
(Great Conspiring Minds Think Alike :)
Yes....truth sometimes IS stranger than fiction.
Just look what is going on, here, with Trump and some of his worst detractors....from his own party!!!
Scotland and other areas may well be adding Tories, that’s what I heard.
So true, so very true.
I keep looking for a headline that just says....-————won the vote for Prime Minister! LOL!
Hasn’t happened yet. I don’t even know which one is conservative, labor, etc. They’re all way too liberal for me! :)
I know the Tories still got the most seats, but this reminds me too much of how the Spaniards voted for the socialists after the Madrid train bombing. The Spaniards decided to surrender in the face of being attacked, and they got full amnesty for illegals (including many radicals) in return.
Too many Europeans think surrender and appeasement is the way to go to stop terrorism, when that just makes it more likely. I just wish Mays position in regard to Brexit wasnt hampered, as it will be now. At any rate, she is still better than Corbyn in regard to terrorism and wide open borders.
OK at 300 now ... so by your calculation need 12 more.
(The most likely scenario is the Conservatives governing with the support of the Democratic Unionist Party (a Northern Ireland conservative party) - it looks at the moment like the Conservatives will fall just short and adding the DUP will have enough to put them over halfway mark.
Jeremy Corbyn is leader of the Labour Party. It is very unlikely but still not impossible, he might get the numbers he needs to cobble together a number of smaller parties and take government. That really is extremely unlikely (he'd need a lot of the remaining seats to fall his way, and to also get the agreement of the Scottish Nationalists, the Liberal Democrats, the Greens, Plaid Cymru... a lot harder than just getting one party with reasonably similar beliefs on board) but it is technically possible.
302 and -11 according to Sky.
Monster Raving Loony Party 0
Thank you for your explanation! It makes much more sense than what I’ve been hearing and trying to “translate” this evening. :)
Looks like Labour just took Southhampton 27k to 16k. I believe that this assures a hung parliament.
Pirate Party: 2,321 votes.
