It’s probably what he wants, rather then resign.

You’re probably right. So. Bring him home for indeterminate period of re-education and attitude adjustment. Keep him here until he can’t bear going to class every day. Appoint another action ambassador in the meantime.
Let him fire himself.
You are the best! Thanks much!!
I thought so too. Checked Wiki, and he’s on a second “wife”. Judge still out, but I predict travel for Lewis’ near future.
Trump gets an F for not staffing his govt. well. He hasn’t even nominated for most posts.
He and his staff need to get serious about hiring/replacing.
Is Hillary’s pet on his way back home yet?
I did, also, Vette.
I found a presidential short-and-sweet email form that goes direct to the White House....and gave him a respectful piece of my mind for not getting that Swamp "clean-sweep" shovel going a little faster.
Not that he sees these emails personally, but counts are kept on all issues by staff, and THESE he sees.

Leni,
This guy is a “placeholder” for the RAT the President’s blanket dismissal order” from their posts as ambassadors at the time of the inauguration. That said, the article I posted stated that Trump is woefully behind in making these appointment, and that is largely because of the RATS in the Senate. It will be interesting to see if Trump recalls him. It’s probably a tossup, because I don’t think he regards these appointments as necessary to the execution of his policies. From my perspective, our “diplomatic service”is just a bunch of RAT homosexuals, so as long as they can’t spend money and they more or less keep their mouths shut, Trump is going to take his time.
POTUS’s complaint vs the mayor wasn’t so much for his reaction to this terror event, but to his claiming that it’s now given as a way of life that they might as well just get used to. Of course, if you are sheltered behind walls, surrounded with guards, that probably doesn’t matter so much.
The acting ambassador has to go.
Could we get an Ambassador who is not an idiotic? He need to go and be the Ambassador to ISIS.
.... at the "Muslim Faith Center" getting trained as to where to slice to get through the neck muscles - AKA the "Muslim one slice chop".......
London Mayor's Ties To Extremism Call Commitment To Fighting Terror Into Question
Disobedient Media ^ | March 27, 2017 | William Craddick with Kenneth Whittle of Loyola New Orleans College of Law / FR Posted by UMCRevMom@aol.com
In 2016, Prime Minister David Cameron was widely criticized in the UK when he claimed that London mayor Sadiq Khan had ties to the terror group ISIS. An investigation by Disobedient Media has determined that Khan has ties not just to organizations associated with ISIS, but also groups such as Hamas, Al-Nusra, Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. During his time as mayor, London has seen an increase in terror incidents with concerning indications that terror groups wish to stage a major attack on the City of London.
Rather than focusing on combatting terror, Khan has used his forum to tell Londoners as well as citizens in other parts of Europe and the United States that the West must learn to live with terrorism as a part of daily life. Khan's extreme flirtation with radical Islamic extremism raises serious questions about his commitment to fighting a wave of extremist fueled terrorism that only continues to spread after a number of attacks and police operations in London and other areas of the UK.

The dippy broad in Qatar did the same thing.
I like the idea of Bring them home for re-education (i.e. rubber room) let them stew in that for a while. No books, no computer, no complaints and maybe we will let you resign. One screw up and they forfeit their pension
“I just imagine after his comment, he will be ‘coming home soon.’”
If he is a career State Department guy, I hope he is swiftly reassigned to Somalia or some other garden spot.
Just get the hook and drag this liberal pansy out of his overseas cushy life paid for by 'we the taxpayers'.
I know what I'm talking about....my late cousin was career State and was posted as consul-general and/or charge'd affaires in numerous wonderful, even exotic, spots around the globe such as Paris, Rome, Venice, the Hague, North Africa, even Thailand where he and his wife were friends of the royal family. Believe me, the livin' is easy for our diplomats, or in continental diplomat-speak.... tres plush. The least they can do is to be loyal to the persona and policies of their boss, the President of the United States.
I repeat the message I mailed to the White House regarding our embassy chief for the UK.....GET THE HOOK, NOW !!!

Voting a muzzie Mayor in U.K., hmmm!!! Don’t we/you need more information HOW and WHY ???
Trump neglected to specifically mention deputy ambassadors or whatever they're called... fruit loop?
“Trump neglected to specifically mention deputy ambassadors or whatever they’re called... fruit loop?”
I think the worldwide problem here is two-fold. From the “deputy” ambassadors all the way down to the embassy janitors, after 8 years of the Half-breed, they are all “fruit loops,” which is just another way of saying what they really are, DemoRAT bastards. Secondly, the Senate, being as closely divided as it is, and with the RINO/GOPe trying as best it can to delay Trump’s agenda, Trump has a mammoth task getting his appointments “approved.” And I am betting that ambassadors are well down the list for most countries. But I guess now he will have to do something specific about Great Britain, because when you have a guy like this fellow, willing to step on his dick in public to try and embarrass the President, he needs a fast one-way ticket home.
We FReepers should start filling out job applications! :^)
The U.S. Senate has been very slow to approve a lot of these nominations, but it may not be all their fault. From what I've been hearing, one of the challenges they face is that a disproportionate number of Trump's appointees have been billionaires like Johnson who have extensive business dealings all over the world -- so the process to do background checks and identify potential conflicts of interest is very complicated.
See Post #98. Johnson had been appointed but has not yet been confirmed to the post.
Apparently Johnson was selected by Trump to serve as the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain, but he won't be formally nominated until AFTER the vetting process, background checks, etc. are done. That's really the cause of the delay here, not the Senate confirmation process.
