The US ambassador to Britain, Lewis Lukens, directly contradicted President Trump and threw his support behind London Mayor Sadiq Khan in a series of tweets on Sunday.
The top diplomat in London praised Sadiq Khan, the city's mayor, after criticism from his boss, President Donald Trump, over the deadly attacks from the night before.
'I commend the strong leadership of the @MayorofLondon as he leads the city forward after this heinous attack,' Lukens said in a post, quoted on the US embassy's Twitter account. Lukens, 53, also praised the 'extraordinary' response from Londoners and emergency services.

Benghazi? That is too nice. Try Luanda, Lagos, Camroon or one of the other garden spots of central Africa. Better than the embassy, a consulate office in one of the garden spots. The downside of this is that he would get liberal hazard and hardship pay. That might be managed by just putting him there on TDY single status for an indeterminate period of time.
I expect President Trump considers this for what it is — insubordination ... something the President does not tolerate!

Watching the "hub-bub" in the WH Press Room just now with the Media's insane, rude grilling of Sarah Huckabee I don't care about any Media/'Rat "hub-bub." Trump should can this "Ambassador" NOW and the Media/'Rats can take their "hub-bub" and shove it.

You’re right. He’s not the official ambassador. He’s incharge in the absence of an ambassador. Agence France Presse is likely being deliberately misleading.
According to this NYSlimes article, Trump asked for the resignations of ALL appointed ambassadors on inauguration day, so the open question is why is this guy still there?
