It’s unclear how exiting the Paris accord will affect Trump and Republicans politically.

No it is very clear. Put America first. The hell with the environmental elitists. "F" Europe "F" China "F" India and "F" the Third World. They hate us and why should we send them money?

Trump made it as crystal clear as he possibly could have why he pulled out of the Paris Accord.

None the less, this trash publication deemed it an effort to take the (so called, vaporware) Russian scandal off front pages.

There are times when face palming just doesn’t cover it.

It’s worth noting that 75 percent of the voters in the city of Pittsburgh, which Trump highlighted in his Rose Garden speech, cast ballots of Hillary Clinton, Trump’s opponent.

That's because Trump was thinking of Pittsburgh as the great industrial, steel producing city it was a few decades back. And he intends to revive that to the extent possible. Once that begins to happen, support for Trump will increase even in the city limits of Pittsburgh.

he was “elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.”
This is what makes him a great man and an outstanding person.

He doesn't care that the dolts in Pittsburgh voted for him or like him. He still feels like he is representing them in the best way possible.

THAT is what sets him apart from the low-life that just left.

Breaking it down the “REASON” they give:

[ It also, for at least 24 hours, knocked the multiple scandals related to Russia and the firing of former FBI director James Comey off the top of the news cycles and changed – or at least inserted into – the public conversation a lively debate between jobs and the environment. ]

Yeah, it just like when Bill clinton bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan or started a war in the Balkans...

Morons at the Sac of crap bee..

I am also on a automotive forum that has a very active political section. There was vote on the Paris Climate Accord. It was 148/12 to pull out as President Trump did. The poll may still be up, I will have to check.

“There are risks for Trump. A recent Yale University poll found that nearly 70 percent of Americans, including almost half of Trump voters, supported the U.S. sticking with the Paris agreement.”

Half of the President Trump voters? What liars! While we are at it, the 70 percent seems sketchy too. It is probably around 25%, and I am being generous.

“scandals”?

1. The mentioned news cycle over the supposed Russian scandal is not the out workings of natural law but a MSM generated frenzy.

2. The average American does not know who Comey is, and when he does, cares not at all he was fired.

FRanco hasn’t a clue - when Trump “...appeared to speak past his audience of supporters and skeptical reporters directly to working class Americans across struggling coal towns and factory cities.” he was also speaking past all the big money folks the Dims claim to hate but always cater to and telling the People that he is for us. By the time 2020 gets here, we will be reaping the benefits of much of his accomplishments and he may pull a Reagan landslide -— if Ryan and McConnell can be brought into line.
