People at the scene have claimed the incident is a "terrorist attack".
Twitter users have suggested seeing "bodies" at the scene.
Reporters for Daily Star Online have seen people fleeing the scene and running away from the bridge in tears.
Police have cordoned off the area as they deal with the incident.
Emergency helicopters, ambulances and police cars have all been sighted in the area.

I’ve been to the UK twice. Once for a couple of months. Second time for a couple of weeks. Had a wonderful time both times. But we won’t go back as long as it’s open season.

This is what America will get if we can’t stop bringing them in here from that part of the world. To the liberal left, who try to tell us how compassionate they are, this is not about religion... it’s not about bringing in refugees and comparing it to what we’ve done with Europeans for years.. This is about muslims who are hell bent on taking over every country on the globe and their #1 is Israel.. their #2 is the United States. Israel is armed to the teeth.. The United States is open and vulnerable.
The courts, playing politics, has tossed caution and protection out the window... they have decided they will ignore the dangers ... they will not look at what is happening in the UK and Germany. Our President is trying to do the right thing. There is no one on the left who will do what is right .. it’s all politics and our safety has turned into a game with those in Washington.
When we see the faces in London this evening... running to safety... the town is in lockdown... and all because they opened their doors to those “poor refugees”... and let them live among them.
I went to London in 2006, less than a year after the Tube bombings on July 7, 2005. I went back the following year. And although I wouldn't go again even if I could afford it, I'm glad I went while things were less crazy than they are now.

Absolutely! When you know, like before the election, that 70% of the country thinks the same way you do, and then the MSM says the exact opposite day in and day out, it's such a total turn off. We're just sick of it. Just read the factual print news off the wires or Shut the ** Up!
I'm all for a total boycott of the MSM. I check CNN and MSNBC every now and then just for the entertainment, but no more. Never again! Total and complete boycott!
