There was a time when I wanted to see England (and Ireland with hubby, who’s Irish on his dad’s side, plus the kids & grandkids), but if their politicians can’t control the savages in their midst, I think we’ll pass.

I’m so glad I got to enjoy London & Paris many years ago. I won’t go back now.

I went to London in 2006, less than a year after the Tube bombings on July 7, 2005. I went back the following year. And although I wouldn't go again even if I could afford it, I'm glad I went while things were less crazy than they are now.

Same here. I’m a second generation American; 3/4 of my family came to the USA from England and Scotland and I still have cousins in England whom I’ve never met. And probably never will, unless they come here. :(
