Looking out over a sea of people in Harvard Yard last week, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s chief executive and one of Harvard’s most famous dropouts, told this year’s graduating class that it was living in an unstable time, when the defining struggle was “against the forces of authoritarianism, isolationism and nationalism.”
Two days earlier, another end-of-year ceremony had taken place, just a short walk away on a field outside the law school library. It was Harvard’s first commencement for black graduate students, and many of the speakers talked about a different, more personal kind of struggle, the struggle to be black at Harvard.

I would ask, “So when’s the ‘Real’ one?”
The idea is to separate people into warring groups, and give some groups special privileges, while turning them against other groups. Some are designated “oppressors” and some “oppressed”.
The goal is to get the “oppressed” to rise up against their evil White “oppressors”.

Diversity is the promotion of chaos by the destruction of Good; and then there-naming of chaos as Good.
Whenever I see old pictures of segregated drinking fountains, waiting rooms, etc, all I can think of is, WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING BACK THEN. Now we see what’s old is new again. Same sh!t,different bigots.
They got the graduation with decorum, and the other super loud one with a reasonable chance for a brawl
I am really aggravated with those who pretend that it is Trump that is dividing this nation. For 8 years we had a pResident that pitted groups against each other.....this is the result. What a disgusting way to behave......sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
Once again we see that diversity = segregation.
Pitiful.
I imagine a lot of Harvard students (of all types) were glad that “those people” didn’t show up and ruin a fine graduation ceremony. Both camps probably share this view.
A positive in this is it will speed up the calling of all students during the event. Sometimes after awhile it gets tedious hearing all the names.
Yup. Separate, but equal.
“Diversity”, the political agenda, is not about diversity.
In some cases it is really about separatism - dividing people into groups. Why? To use the groups thus divided as agents for attacking the culture as “oppressors” of the divided-up groups. Why? To destroy the culture that is to “scientifically” - through Marxist/Progressive thought manufacture a new culture.
And what does true diversity have to do with the culture the “diversity” agenda seeks? Nothing - zip,zilch, nada.
What the “diversity” agenda seeks is a mono-culture in which true diversity is not an issue because true diversity, especially of thought and belief, would not exist.
In sum:
The “diversity” political agenda is really about destroying true diversity on the road to creating a mono-culture that has no diversity.
