Good on her. If they want to make it political, she can make it about profit.
Any bets on how long they before they start begging her to reconsider?

The fickle and fake rag trade.
I hope Trump uses that line.

Fashion people are fickle and fake. They are starting to see she is a beautiful woman who is married to the president, and it is an honor to dress her. Try "stupid and childish."

She can buy off the rack. In the rag trade, that is the highest of compliments!

I wonder how this works. Do they put a bill in the box in case she likes it? Does she wear it and then return it to them? Does she wear it but then it belongs to the Museum?
I hope she favors D&G since they supported her right to wear the clothes..and they faced backlash

The fickle and fake fashionistas often had Michelle Obama looking ridiculous. And one day they’ll be accused of racism for it.

Defending the former model against critics who harped on the garments $51,500 cost, Donald Trump is a billionaire. He made his money in the private sector through people voluntarily buying his real estate and service he provides. If he wants to buy his wife a $51,100 coat, so be it. I have no problem with it. When Michelle Obama was wearing clothes that cost five figures, she was getting them because she was the wife of a president, or bought them with money that people paid to the Obamas for political influence. That is why it was inappropriate for Michelle to be wearing them but perfectly fine for Melania to be wearing them.

They are obviously her favorite, she wears D&G more than any other designers
To: mandaladon
She's doing just fine without them. And she always looks lovely.
What a wonderful First Lady. How lucky we are.

Vice President Pence showed up at the biker rally in DC this weekend- It would be awesome to see Trump and (especially) Melania in biker leathers at the next event.

Melania Trump probably wouldn’t waste a moment on revenge. She’s a positive person who always moves forward.
These headline “designers” are full of horse stuff.

Jackie Kennedy was not beautiful in the same league with Melania!

Lucy and Ethel in Paris
Fred and Ricky decide to play a trick on their wives, who are waxing rhapsodic over Paris Couture. So the guys find a couple of burlap sacks, a lampshade, and a feedbucket, and present them to Lucy and Ethel as Designer Fashions. They go out in public and start a new trend in the fashion world.
One of the BEST episodes EVAH!
