I wonder how often that ever works, especially since these typically aren’t jury trials.

The surgery was in April. I think the report said he hadn’t taken Viox in the past year.

Not necessarily. In at least one state (New Mexico), refusal to take a breathalyzer automatically raises the charges to aggravated DWI, a felony.I always thought you had the choice of submitting to either a breathalyzer or a blood test. I now know this isn't true in many states.

Any attorney in Florida will tell you to refuse to blow. They can’t get you off otherwise.

Yes, it seems there was a lot of b.s. in the initial round of reporting. Another reminder not to rely on the MSM for factual information!
Thanks for the update!

I take muscle relaxers quite frequently and have been for several years. 99% of the time I can’t really tell their doing anything but every so often one will knock me out.

At the end of 2016, Tiger Woods had a net worth of $740 million.

You best opt for the Breathalyzer over a Blood Test. Those results can be challenged. Blood, not so much.
As far as Tiger goes, my Wife read that her had FOUR Prescription Drugs in his system, although I have no idea how they could get those results this quickly.
If it was me, I would have at least three in my System. No fun stuff, just Blood Pressure and Cholesterol drugs. LOL

Oh, sure, and that explains why he would refuse a Breathalyzer which would have proved that he was NOT alcohol-intoxicated???According to the police report (as reported in the New York Post and The Smoking Gun), HE DID NOT REFUSE A BREATHALYZER TEST; RATHER, HE WAS TESTED TWICE AND BLEW A .000 BOTH TIMES!!!

According to the New York Post, the police report lists four drugs that Woods said that he has taken in the past for medical conditions (Soloxer, Vicodin, Torix and Viox).

According to the New York Post, Woods apparently identified four drugs to the police that he has taken in the past to treat his medical conditions: Soloxer, Vicodin, Torix, and Viox. He also gave a urine sample after passing two breathalyzer tests. http://nypost.com/2017/05/30/cops-found-tiger-passed-out-behind-the-wheel/

I might be in the minority here, but I like Tiger as a phenomenon. As a man he may be an a-hole, but as a golfer no one could touch him. IF he is self destructing due to professional decline he won't be the first. Some egos can't handle not being perfect anymore and can't refocus their lives. He should just enjoy his millions and his children and bask in past glory on his estate.
If this is all due to medication, resulting from sports injury/pain, I pity him. He's said he was desperate to relieve the pain, had multiple surgeries, and is probably on serious pain meds. Should he have been driving while medicated? No, I'm sure he could afford a driver; but there's the ego again or just unexpected reaction to meds. If it's a sports related/pain/medication thing he should get just as much understanding as the regular Joes and celebrities like Prince(who is widely pitied), who need strong drugs for pain. I hope it's not a self-destructive,alcohol thing; but many burnt out stars take that route. Nothing can alter the fact that he was a spectacular phenomenon in golf, but no one stays at the top forever. I only watched to see Tiger play and the game has lost a lot without him.

Yes, thx, it turns out that much of the initial reporting was wrong. Chalk up another victory for MSM quality reporting!!

Booze on top of Script pain pills, he’s had so many back and knee surgeries that he is in pain all the time. No one made him take booze with pain meds. Clear warning on the meds and pkg inserts.
Even my anti-Puke pills I take for Meniere’s have the same warning.
Look for his doc to get the blame.
