Please pray for my Dad [Update: 430 - Dad has passed away]

Please pray for my Dad. He's in the ICU with pneumonia and fluid around his hear and lungs. They're going to drain the fluid, but I have no idea how things will go after that.

They had him on antibiotics for the pneumonia, and hopefully, they'll continue those.

Please, God, let my Dad live out the rest of his long life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I’m so sorry. Such a long hard haul, those six weeks. Your father had you by his side every moment. Perhaps God answered the prayers and gave him mercy from his suffering. God does not inflict suffering, we are organic beings on the wrong side of Paradise. Some day we will be on the right side of it and I’m sure there you will be reunited with your father.

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Heavenly Father, You are God Everlasting. We lift TSR’s family in prayer. They definitely had a difficult time, but knowing the father knew Jesus as his Savior gives the family reassurance of having a grand reunion in heaven. We thank You for TSR’s testament to his father’s fight to live. We pray that through his will to live and also his passing, others may come to know the saving Grace of Your Son Jesus. So sorry for your loss - in a way, it's a blessing for it to go so fast - we've been watching our son wither away for almost 3 years and it is hard on both the person and his loved ones.

Praise God that your Dad now has a perfect and healthy body and will replace earthy suffering with eternal rejoicing.
