US President Donald Trump received gifts from Saudi King Shah Salman with worth of $ 1.2 billion during his first visit to kingdom.
The gifts given by Saudi King included a precious diamond, armband made of pure gold with King Salmans photo imprinted on it and 25 kilogram heavy sword made of pure gold with different diamonds and stones on it.
The sword is worth of $ 200 million.
Furthermore, gold and diamond made watches, worth of $ 200 million, were also gifted to Trump and his family.
A small replica of Statue of Liberty but made with gold, diamond and precious stones will also be sent to White House soon.
Meanwhile, one of the major roads in Riyadh has also been named after Trump.
A 125 meter long yacht, which is worlds tallest personal yacht as it has 80 rooms with 20 royal suits, will also be sent through US navy to America.
No US President has received these kinds of gifts before by Saudi Kingdom.
Unlike the grifter Clintons, Trump knows these gifts belong to the people of the United States. He won’t be trying to sneak them out of the White House when he leaves...

After they (Clintons) were criticized for taking $190,000 worth of china, flatware, rugs, televisions, sofas and other gifts with them when they left, the Clintons announced last week that they would pay for $86,000 worth of gifts, or nearly half the amount.
“Their latest decision to send back $28,000 in gifts brings to $114,000 the value of items the Clintons have either decided to pay for or return.”
“McDaniel discussed the matter Wednesday with Betty Monkman, the White House curator, and Gary Walters, the chief usher, or executive manager of the White House. “
Venezuela isn’t in the Middle East.
In Arab cultures if a person compliments an item, you're suppose to give them the item. If Trump said, "that's a beautiful sword", or yacht, or ring - whatever - the Sauds would be duty bound to insist he accept the item as a gift.
I remember when Trump said in his speech something about the 'magnificent' room - I feared the House of Saud would rip the room from the ground and ship it to DC. I was thankful when that didn't happen. Let's pray our President - a good man - didn't compliment them on these items - these treasures.
I want the boat! :-) !!
I’ll take it! Can we cruise it to Cleveland?
Yep -- 410 feet long...
And here is getting showered with lavish gifts from them the likes we've not seen before.
They should be sold to pay down the debt...who would complain?
Pakistan today?
I call BS on this story.
Totally.
Did we reciprocate?
This is very mild recompense for things we did in the past.
First, we accepted the Saudi theft of the oil fields developed and paid for by contract. That was worth trillions to the Saudis.
Then we shored up and kept OPEC alive for generations. At the beginning, the Shaw of Iran is reported to have offered to break OPEC for us, but Henry Kissinger told him to stand down. The word was the Kissinger wanted the Saudis to have lots of money to buy U.S. military hardware, so as to keep them out of the hands of the Soviet Union.
That decision was worth trillions more.
So a few trinkets at 1.2 billion are hardly noticeable.
Is the Goodtime II still operating?
Not sure. I think so as it was quite popular.
The King might think it was rude, and even the Saudis don’t have enough money to put much of a dent in the $20T debt that Obama piled on our children.
The purpose of the Emoluments Clause is to prevent foreign governments from buying influence in the U.S. by paying off U.S. government officials. Heres the text of the clause:
No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
That’s in the US Constitution. Just like some Amendments, which have been changed by Congress and agencies without proper authority. The adjustment of the law as recorded in the federal register is illegal on its face. The modification simply allows government officials to be bribed. Our Constitutional protections have all been disbanded by men seeking power and riches. I certainly wish Trump had rejected these, in order to uphold that Constitution.
Pay for the wall.
Wonder what DVDs he gave her. Me thinks it could be very revealing of his personality.
Oil is fungible; until recently we relied on imported oil the price of which was set by SA and bought in dollars.
Goes in the National WH archives. The WH even has a ‘Gift Unit’ https://www.state.gov/s/cpr/c29447.htm
It is however in OPEC, and it is very much foreign. A fair amount of oil coming out of there is making its way here. If we said no, what little stability that excuse for a country and cease to exist.
