Waste? These are precious gifts in their minds and generously bestowed on our most deserving president. No doubt they will be seen in the Trump Presidential Museum.
Our dollars bought Saudi / OPEC oil and they recycle it as swag back to us to display in museums.

I agree. Accepting such riches from an Islamic country makes me uneasy.
Secondly, I don't believe that the King gave him gifts worth $1.2 BILLION. Not for a minute.
