This is massive, and I certainly didn't know this. How many Freepers did? That Republican Congressional Committees are all run by Democrats???
Never mind the fact that this committee---I'm guessing about 16-18 people---has NINETY staffers? So now you know why the "right" questions don't get asked. The Congressmen tell their staffers, "I have a hearing with Comey on Tuesday. Prepare a list of the questions I'll be asking." Naturally, the Dem staffers ask about Russia.
I have no idea if they can fire all these people but this is a fifth column.
Now, opinion only: Who saw "Charlie Wilson's War?" What do you want to bet that the majority of the "staffers" look like Charlie's staffers and/or are homosexuals? I never put much stock in the homosexual mafia angle of DC, but after this, I need to re-think.

Only in the Beltway. What? Are there no replacements that can be found for these partisan pencil pushers? Or, is it more likely the Uniparty is so entrenched they don’t even think there is problem with crummy staff personnel making $170K.

Stunning that it’s the RNC, but I suspect that the WH and all Federal Executive agencies are staffed by Democrats. They believe the Government should control us and they enjoy being an integral part of that control.
More regulations,= more jobs, more money for the Government workers.

I never imagined that Republicans in Congress don’t have their own Republican staffers. Perhaps these huge “joint” committees operate from a “joint” management in staff hiring, but I’d have expected that Rs had the basic sense to insist that they get an appropriate proportion of the hiring slots. Having a staff made up almost entirely of ‘Rats is sure way to steer the committee’s work in one (nefarious) direction. This is outrageous and must be changed!
What has happened to Chaffetz, blackmail? He should have his last months of salary withheld for disappearing (yeah, right). So despite his behavior, there go more tax dollars for his gold-plated retirement.
But it is a plus to flush away all those other people, apparently. How disgusting.
Kinda also explains the last 8 years of Congress inaction...wonder who runs Ryans and McTurtles offices....hhhmmmm
