Barack Obama received a hero’s welcome when he reunited with Angela Merkel for the first time since leaving office, calling on the audience to engage in democracy and telling the tens of thousands in Berlin: “We can’t hide behind a wall.”
Speaking in front of the Brandenburg Gate, which was once cut off by the Berlin Wall, the former US president was greeted with cries of “Barack, Barack” as he urged the 70,000-strong crowd to “push back against those trends that would violate human rights or suppress democracy or restrict individual freedoms” and to “fight against those who divide us”.
He said he was heartbroken by the suicide bombing in Manchester on Monday, which killed 22 people. Calling the world a “very complicated place”, he said: “We can see the terrible violence that took place just recently in Manchester. It is a reminder that there is a great danger of terrorism and people who would do great harm to others just because they’re different. LOL, 70,000? Who were the opening bands/acts? How much beer was available? How many EUs were paid to those in attendance? His last appearance there, had a small crowd. Poor guy, he needs more attention, without it, no one would care about him.
Take away his Secret Service and taxpayer funded transportation, then, and let him live without his “walls” like the rest of us.

The Germans have a tendency to be “star struck”.
While stationed over there in the late 60’s (Air Force), we had a small band and play out in some pubs and guesthouse son weekends. We weren’t that great, just having fun.
On several occasions, Germans would come up to us wanting “autographs”, obstensibly because we were Americans.
They went gah-gah, over nothing.
Then he just spoke German as well as Austrian huh?

The Germans need to see a montage of Obama’s pro-Islamic highlights, starting with his description of the call to prayer as being the most beautiful sound in the world. Just to put Obama’s remarks into context as the next waves of middle eastern “refugees” come flooding in.

Right on - perhaps Barack Hussein Obama is wanting to be Chancellor of Germany. He could change his name to Adolf Hussein. The name seems to fit his ideology.
