A former minion for the Iowa Democratic Party now operating as a Guardian reporter, Ben Jacobs, assaulted Montana Republican House candidate Greg Gianforte on Wednesday. Jacobs has a history of opposing his political opponents’ freedom of speech, as GotNews reported in October.
Gianforte is competing against Democratic candidate Rob Quist for a House seat that opened up after President Donald J. Trump appointed Ryan Zinke to be secretary of the interior. The special election is Thursday.
A statement about Jacobs’ assault from Greg for Montana campaign spokesperson Shane Scanlon reads:

Michelle Fields is the reporter who falsely accused Trump aide Corey Lewandowski of shoving her to the ground in the attempt to get him fired and prosecuted.
There is an obvious pattern here.
Fields might have gotten away with her lies if video hadn’t shown up exposing her lies for what they were.
Like with Jacobs, Fields had another reporter backing up her story- even though it was fraudulent.
This time there is no video of the alleged assault. Yet. Funny how that could be the case in this time of ubiquitous cellphone cameras.

Only in this case Ben Jacobs isn’t just a reporter. He’s a reporter for a foreign newspaper.
And by all accounts he initiated a violent confrontation with a candidate on the eve of an election. In Montana.
Reviewing his work history, he otherwise appears to “report” only on whatever MSM manufactured anti-Trump story of the day happens to be.
And now he just happens to show up on a completely unrelated beat in Montana, just in time to interfere with the election at the last minute.

There is an incident in a novel, I wrote, which describes a similar media thug getting what he truly deserved, for viewing on the evening news. Reporters did not use to be "laws onto themselves."

Correct me if I am wrong, but a “body slam” is where someone is picked up off of the ground, rotated into a horizontal position, and slammed into the ground.

I understand that many Montanans have voted already - but what about the ones who’ve yet to go to the polls today?

I was listening to some LA radio reporter this morning who said:

Apparently news reporting has become so degraded that this dimwit doesn’t consider that “disagreeing’ with someone you are interviewing isn’t reporting, it means that you are debating. Apparently Jacobs, like Stephanopoulos, is a Democrat party activist now spinning the news. Fewer and fewer are fooled anymore.
Jacobs is lucky he only got his glasses broken.

I think Greg will win this election by at least 5 points. This incident with the liberal reporter might even help him by increasing the Republican turnout. As the truth about these dirty democrat tactics emerges, support for the democrat party will continue to erode across our nation.
