The photos and the video and the sounds have become all too familiar. A flash of light a massive explosion horrified screams of the dying and wounded.
This time in Manchester, England at a concert filled with young teenagers and their parents.
What was supposed to be a night of music and dancing and childhood frivolity ended in carnage.
"Horrific, horrific injuries. Terrible," President Trump said. "Dozens of innocent people, beautiful young children savagely murdered in this heinous attack upon humanity."
An untold number of children and their parents were massacred by Islamic radicals - killed in the name of the religion of peace.
In response there have been candlelight vigils and calls for peace and understanding but the Muslim jihadists do not want peace. They want death.
The Islamic radicals will not stop until they have killed every last one of us - Christians, Jews, Gay, Straight.
The time has come to eliminate this evil from the face of the planet. The time has come for nations around the world to stop appeasing the Islamists.
"We must drive out the terrorists and extremists from our midst, obliterate this evil ideology, and protect and defend our citizens and people of the world," the president said. "All civilized nations must be united in this effort."
And we must do our part in the United States. We must secure our borders, we must investigate those who come here from the birthplace of this radical ideology and we must do whatever is necessary to prevent American blood from being shed on American soil.
Yet, there are still apologists for the radical Islamists - from Hollywood to the halls of Congress. They seem to think we can win over the hearts and minds of the jihadists with bouquets of flowers and gentle hugs.
That sort of philosophy is not only foolish but it's downright dangerous.
How many more times do we have to listen to breathless news anchors lecturing us about not rushing to judgment?
The Presbyterians and the Lutherans are not the ones strapping on backpacks filled with nails and blowing themselves up. The Methodists and Baptists aren't beheading people. The Catholics are not flying jetliners into buildings.
So spare us the politically correct garbage.
How many more children must die at the hands of radical Muslims - slain in the name of the religion of peace?
How many more citizens of the world must be sacrificed to satisfy the bloodlust of these brutal savages?
How many more times, America? How many more times?
Just exactly what talent does a news reader have?
Except for reading a telepromptor?
Hmmm, was not there a president as talentless as that?
Perhaps he (if he is a he) should work for CNN now.
Too late! But I didn’t ‘rush’ to judgment, I made a quick summation of the location, knew the history and demography of the area and knew the political climate. It was a rather easy conclusion to reach.
These may be discrete events but there are obviously common threads running through all of them.
Fools may keep rattlesnakes as pets but they shouldn’t be surprised when they receive a venomous bite.
After 16 years of not really fighting back I am starting to get battered spouse syndrome.
Media certainly is rushing to judgement in deciding who leaked info to Wikileaks from Podesta’s email account.
Leftists willingly, gleefully, sacrifice the innocent on the altar of political correctness.
Their fuzzy feelings trump all.
The predictions of journalists are their fondest wishes. They want terrorists to be Republican Christian males with a confederate flag and a bible.
They want to hide the fact that the terrorists are m*slims, who want to enslave us.
They probably aren’t mentally able themselves to rush to judgment on two things at once and assume everyone is as slow as them. It’s more important to rush to judgment on Trump/Russia/impeachment so ignore everything else. /semi-sarc
I’m sick of news anchors. Period.
The Left — and by extension, much of Western society — does not care about children.
They say they do. But abortion tells a different story. Now the Muslims are blowing up little girls. “Oh. Gee. That’s a shame. They probably shouldn’t do that. But let’s not judge them.”
Personally, I think children matter.
There. Fixed it.
Why, Scott Pelley even chewed on the other side of his glasses, as he solemnly intoned that the tragedy was not of a terrorist nature...even Anderson Cooper said so.
Now who ya gonna believe?
Even the Mayor of London, Hizzoner Hussein bin Ladenwannabe Sky Hook Khan, hisself, told the WORLD, that it was not the work of islamic persons.
So...I'm just gonna accept that it was a pissed off Ariana Grande fan...incensed over the length of her hair weave...or something.
They rush to judgment with their calls to refrain from a rush to judgment. They’re trying to preempt a judgment different from their own.
Liberals consider the slaughter of 8 years just a form of late term abortion.
excellent point
Quite simply, News Anchors aren’t doing their job. They believe they are training us on how we ought to think responsibly. The news started with not even acknowledging it was a bombing, and then it became a “possible terror incident” as labeled by British authorities. Really? What was obvious is the hopefulness of Anchors that it wasn’t a Radical Islamic Terror Attack. You know, maybe one of those other groups from several that do suicide bombings at soft targets. Sure.
They didn’t do that on 12-7-1941, or did they?
