IVANKA TRUMP made the journey from Saudi Arabia to Israel with father US President Donald Trump today and wore an outfit very different to any she’s been pictured in recently.
Ivanka Trump: Was the First Daughter wearing traditional Jewish dress? The 35-year-old was pictured next to husband Jared Kushner as the took part in a welcome ceremony upon her father Donald’s arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.
Ivanka co-ordinated her outfit with Jared’s, wearing black and navy, but her style wasn’t as fashion-forward as it’s appeared in the past.
She wore a black lace top with long sleeves and a navy sash across the front, along with a long pleated navy skirt.
She accessorised with black sunglasses and a navy-coloured head piece which lay flat to her head.

Trump bowed to a Saudi during some ceremony.....Fake new/hate news. Trump extended his neck to receive the highest SA award that can be given. I don’t think he thought it was appropriate for the king to get a step stool to loop it over his neck. Obama probably thought it would be appropriate.

I hate these ‘click bait’ headlines...
but I think the point of her wearing a “head piece” is that it’s part of Jewish custom and she and Jared are “modern Orthodox Jews.” Notice she and Melania didn’t wear head coverings in Saudi. Wonder how this will be received? And, will they wear veils or head coverings at the Vatican?
No. Judging from those pictures of her, what she needs is a large paper bag---over her head, to spare us the sight of her.
It’s playing well in Israel. Ivanka is very very image conscious...
She knows that the Jews go over everything she does..including zooming in to see if she is holding things in a Christian church. It will be interesting to see what she does in Rome.
Is that Jared to Ivanka’s right? Where is his yarmulka? That he is known to be a Jew and especially in Israel, he wears no head covering? What kind of supposedly Orthodox Jew is he?
Ivanka is very camera conscious just from her upbringing I would expect. She was raised to be in the spot light so her image and what she wants to project is always very measured and often scripted so much in her past that she generally uses the same vocabulary repeatedly.
I will look forward to when she relaxes a bit and we see the unpolished personality.

Ivanka would never do that in this setting if she was FLOTUS. THAT is how image/camera conscious she is and has been long before Trump ran for POTUS.
If you meant to reply to my post...they were zooming in to see if she had hymnals..handouts.. etc in church. The one I am thinking about is when Trump was first elected.
