James Comey, the ousted FBI director, once wore a dark blue suit to a White House gathering to blend in with the curtains because he hoped that would help him avoid being called out by President Donald Trump, The New York Times reported Thursday.
Benjamin Wittes — a friend of Comey's, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and the editor-in-chief of Lawfare — told The Times about the incident, which he said Comey described to him.
"He thought he had gotten through and not been noticed or singled out and that he was going to get away without an individual interaction," Wittes said Comey told him.
Comey's plan failed.

He should have worn powder blue instead. The President was standing in one place. If he was so sure in his convictions and trying to hide, why did Comey walk to the President? He could have just nodded or waved.

I am just going to pass this off as more fake news for now. If Comey had such a biased opinion of the president, he should have been removed.
I am beginning to wonder if Comey was the leak. He sure enjoyed the spotlight. And if his running pals are the extremists at Brookings Institution, he’s not fit to serve. And why would he be communicating such information to someone like this?
If this story is in any way true, Comey got exactly what he deserved. We don’t need someone with such bias as head of the FBI.

Trump hit the nail on the head with that comment, if he even said it. What kind of nut job announces that Hillary shouldn’t be charged with a crime 4 months before a POTUS election? If she shouldn’t be charged then why announce it? Plus since when has the FBI ever announced a recommendation to the DOJ in public? To me he was trying to help her win, that’s the only reason he did it.
