ENGLEFIELD, England — Pippa Middleton, radiant in a custom-made wedding gown, married a wealthy financier Saturday as two likely future British kings and other members of the royal family, including her sister, looked on.
In what was seen by many as the society wedding of the year, Middleton and hedge fund manager James Matthews said their vows in a ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, west of London. Before the wedding, a crowd of well-wishers and reporters gathered outside the church grounds, hoping for a glimpse.

That was prominently on the news here in the Chicago area yesterday. I wondered who in the world this Pippa was, and then they said she was the sister of Princess Kate. It took me a moment to remember who she was too.
Well, now I know, and am I the better for it?
Bingo! We are celebrity driven society, at least that is what “mainstream” media wants us to accept, believe, and manipulate us with. Don’t fall for this crap, no one should.
Brave lass, she seems to finally be recovering from her rejection by Lazamataz.
I think so, yes. Kate and Pippa are two pretty women and they got married in pretty ceremonies. Much money was received by many people in carrying off these celebrations. I am thinking those who received the patronage probably could use a few pounds to pay groceries, rent, etc.
I don’t believe these two women have caused anyone harm in their activities. And it is nice to see marriage (although both parties are said to have anticipated their vows somewhat) still being practiced.
So, yes, you are slightly better for it.

I had to look her up. I thought she was married to the Prince but I guess that is her Sister.
She is pretty, but not that pretty.
The groom seemed so unenthusiastic.
Point well taken, and while I can understand why Kate’s wedding would be news here in the flyover, I don’t know why Pippa’s is. It was a nice break, though, from the usual murder and mayhem I usually see on the news.
Isn’t it about time to dissolve these achronistic people??
In other news, Huma quits and puts down the Wiener that Schumer and the Clintons pushed on her.
In all the hub-bub over that one, crickets from the feminists. Not even a “you GO, sister!”
