Public approval of President Donald Trump has dropped to its lowest level since his inauguration, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday, after Trump was accused of mishandling classified information and meddling with an FBI investigation.
The May 14-18 opinion poll found that 38 percent of adults approved of Trump while 56 percent disapproved. The remaining 6 percent had "mixed feelings."

Put your head in the sand. People here were saying everything was going perfectly when I said things weren’t going well during the campaign. They called me a troll and said things were going swimmingly. Right after that (the day after), Trump fired Lewandowski. He also saw things weren’t going well.
Trump has surrounded himself with foxes in his hen house who are leaking and running to MSM outlets that hate him. Sometimes it’s just embarrassing info - other times it is classified info. He needs to clean house by getting rid of these Never Trump folks & possibly clean house to a degree in the political appointees at intelligence agencies.

You have multiple Trump supporters concerned about these things - Lou Dobbs, Ann Coulter, Mike Cernovich, Alex Jones, Roger Stone (a friend of Trump), Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, etc. These were all people who were integral voices in helping get him elected. By pretending everything is going right, it is a disservice to him.
Also, the media game is terrible. Trump’s communications shop is not serving him well. The message is not consistent. They are on defense. They are responding to the narrative as opposed to setting it.
