Michael Schmidt, the New York Times “journalist” behind the alleged “Trump-Comey Memo”, told fake news anchor, Brian Williams, that he has NOT seen the memo Comey allegedly wrote.
Schmidt stumbled over his words as he commented to Williams, “Someone that had seen [the memo] had recounted details to me.”

Comey has lots of outs on this one. He can say "There's no memo... I don't know how the press got that impression". He can say "The memo is top secret, so I can't confirm or deny its existence". He can say "Now there's a special counsel handling this, so I'll turn everything over to him". He can say "I wrote the memo, Trump was coercing me to stop the investigation, but I didn't intend to mislead Congress on that when I testified". He can say "I couldn't tell Congress in an open setting about Trump's interference because that was part of an ongoing investigation".

Hearsay has been fine for “journalists” for a long time. Pretty soon there will be a manufactured “memo” that can be turned over as evidence, Dan Rather style.
It is his Obama, Lynch. Holder, Clinton, Deputy FBI, etc... memos that should have the democrats shaking in their boots. For his story to be true he would have to have committed several different felonies.
Well, they got their special counsel, and a never ending, tax payer funded investigation out of this bs.
The memo has to do with Flynn...he already was fired when Trump and Comey talked, so what is the memo about, and why did it ‘all of a sudden come up’ after the fact???
Comey is trying to bring down President Trump, but he can’t because he has lied about so many things, the people don’t know where to start...
Remember, Comey wasn’t in his office when he was fired and certain people now have ALL of his stuff!!!

He has no outs... if he has a Trump memo, he has memos of every conversation with leading Democrats and their scandals (fast and furious, servers, Benghazi, etc...). Next, if there was interference by Trump, it is a serious felony not to report it to his superiors at the time (no excuses).
Any memos (FBI work product) he did not turn over after being fired is a felony. If he kept memos and is in possession of those memos, it is jail time no matter what is his excuse.

Here I was thinking that prison was going to look good on Comey for lying to Congress. If there is no memo now, there is a conspiracy to take down a sitting president that gets investigated.....not looking good for Comey and friends either way. Sad

I came here to say the same thing. It’s just like small town gossip.
He has all these "outs" with the public hearing in Congress... the Dems on these things just sit there and lecture for the cameras about evil Trump, and the Repubs on these things never dare ask any hard questions. Comey sails through these things with ease and the MSM winds up with more ammo to use against Trump.
Don’t need congress or the media. If he committed felonies, it is up to Sessions to do his job. He has to be scared crap-less (polite word) if he really does take and keep memos.
