Greg Abbott, targeting “sanctuary city” policies on immigration, warned Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez on Monday to back down from a policy change on federal immigration detention requests. “Your refusal to fully participate in a federal law enforcement program intended to keep dangerous criminals off the streets leaves the State no choice but to take whatever actions are necessary to protect our fellow Texans,”

Stalkers and domestic abusers are at the top of this maggot's list of "dangerous people"? Yup, Loopy is right.
I still am stupified as to how this became this way Texas places like Dallas, Austin and Houston becoming liberal havens in what otherwise would be one of the most conservative states. Most texans are not liberals AT ALL!
Dallas was lost in 2008 when the Dems finally took over. They imported enough illegals and Muslims to finally get the job done. In fact, Dallas County has the honor of having one of the largest Muslim communities in the US.
Lupe Valdez repeatedly fails jail inspections, and I don’t believe she has ever carried a side-arm. She’s your typical big city sheriff that is all hat and no cattle.
They still think Criminals will follow the Law.
Only their Victims follow the Law.
Mass unchecked immigration from the third world. Then they pop out 5-7 parasites that are raised in the old country ways and hate America. It takes about 40 years, but it usually gets the job done.
I am from Dallas, and I remember a time when Dallas County was as red as Montana.
