MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A South Florida university awarded an honorary degree to Trayvon Martin, Saturday.
Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, took the stage at Florida Memorial University’s commencement in Miami Gardens to receive a posthumous bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science on their son’s behalf.
Fulton and Martin said the ceremony was bittersweet, and now they’re passing on an inspirational message to Trayvon’s fellow graduates.

Not only that, Trayvon also gets a couple dozen voter registration cards for use by him or a designee.
I propose a hiring moratorium for 10 years for any graduate of Florida Memorial University. During such time, I request that the university have ALL of its accreditations revalued, in the light of open fraud.

All I can say is, “Don’t hire anyone with an Aeronautical Science degree from Florida Memorial University”. Those are too easy to get. I would suspect any other degrees from FMU as well.
Just think... 3 years from now they can give him a PhD.

Zimmerman didn’t “approach” Trayvon, it was Trayvon who ambushed Zimmerman. When you viciously assault an armed man and start slamming his head on the pavement and going for his gun, don’t be surprised if you get shot for your troubles. Trayvon “earned” his death, no matter how much people might wish for a different outcome.
I was just doing a search on Zimmerman because I read his parents are being harassed, and I came upon this thread. This is a joke, right? This is a parody article right? They’re giving an honorary degree to an attempted murderer, a guy who tried to bash in the head of a neighborhood watch.

No, it was no joke. This is from the extreme whacko “I’m an educator” morons who believe they have but to “say it is so” to make it so. Can you imagine a space engineer who came out of such an educational decision (no tests, no mathematics or physics or even engineering courses... just, feel good). Imagine if architects were decided upon in this way. For the good of “diversity” and “fairness” vs. freaking competency.
In this case it is “downtrodden” race issues the classic white guilt liberal—— oh I’m sorry I’m supposed to throw every rational thought out the window because they are “racist”. The same logic is (or was) being applied for islamofascists and the “downtrodden” muslims (who claim they made great contributions to Western Civilization— obamaumao even said so— and that is total BS).
A posthumous award to a “cough syrup synthetic codeine gun owning expelled HS student” who was high as a kite on a very old known street concoction— purple syrup, and who attacked a cop wannabee neighborhood watch person— who shot him dead in self defense vs. having his own brains beat out of him.
