Professors Shouldn't Be Forced To Pledge Allegiance To 'Diversity'

Back in the in 40s and 50s, Americans could be blackballed, expelled or otherwise punished if they wouldn’t declare their national loyalty. The ideological fervor for conformity abated for decades, but has recently returned on our college campuses in the form of mandatory “diversity statements” by current and prospective faculty members.

The difference is that instead of having to pledge support for America in its battle against communism, the new pledge is support to the “diversity” agenda in its battle against a color-blind nation where people are evaluated on their own merits rather than group membership.

This recent paper by the Oregon Association of Scholars illuminates the problem of mandatory diversity statements. While it focuses chiefly on schools in the Oregon higher education system, it observes that more than twenty major universities and systems across the nation now require diversity statements for hiring or promotion, including the University of California, Carnegie-Mellon University, and Virginia Tech.

Traditionally, faculty candidates have been evaluated on the basis of four documents: a cover letter, their curriculum vitae, research statement, and teaching statement. Now, a fifth document is being added—a diversity statement in which the individual expresses his or her commitment to “diversity.” That is, how important it is to the individual, how he or she acts to further diversity, and so on.

This is not required merely from idle curiosity, of course. The diversity statement has a purpose. That purpose, writes the paper’s author, Professor Bruce Gilley of Portland State University, is to weed out non-leftist scholars.

Diversity therefore equals the destruction of any and all religions and of all positive ideologies.

Because Diversity can only be destructive: whatever IS is insufficiently or inexactly diverse.
Whatever IS must therefore be destroyed in order to make it MORE Diverse.
And there is no conceivable or measurable end to it. Yesterday’s Diversity is today’s intolerable lack of Diversity.

Diversity is the destruction of Good; and it is the destruction of all types of Good - however defined. All are chewed up and spat out by Diversity.

Diversity is the promotion of chaos by the destruction of Good; and then there-naming of chaos as Good.

For decades until I retired, all new hire packages and performance reviews included and EOT statement that the individual agreed to adhere to the standard to prohibit discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, age, sexual orientation.

The sexual orientation was only there for the past decade. How can we be surprised that the leftists now have a diversity oath?

You are correct. Everyone knew “diversity” was EVIL since the tower of Babel.

You need UNITY for cohesive, productive cultures. BUT that cohesiveness is about FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS like in GOD. Without fundamental agreements on uniform “laws” , there is only chaos....and of course, that is what the sodomites want-—destruction of Christianity (Western Civ) because of the UNITY all Christian cultures had-—esp. where the USA created a Christian nation where ALL Christian (rational ones) could exist TOGETHER-—which was ONLY possible because they agreed that Jesus Christ was God.

These people who proclaim “diversty” are liars for they want NO TRUE diversity which is diversity of thought and Freedom of Speech/Thought which they are DENYING with this “oath”——AND they want to promote LIES and VICE which destroy all civilizations.

That is why “diversity” was created by Cultural Marxists to deconstruct (destroy) culture-—to force irrational vile “ideologies” on the masses, remove reason, and to force little children into these indoctrination centers where they can literally be made to hate all white males and all Christians (and themselves, if they are white).

They want to tear down ALL rational, common sense traditions, ALL wisdom of the ages—etc., for the NWO—where Boys are Girls, etc——their “diveristy” of lies and idiocy to create Fichte’s dumb, ignorant slaves out of all white people. The schools are deliberately destroying the souls (minds) of our children.

They have to destroy Chrsitian worldview in children to create such dumb ignorant adults who are immoral since vice creates slaves, and who actually say Bruce is Caitlyn....complete lies and insantiy and mental illness being FORCED and normalized onto our children, through the sodomites in Hollywood, the ones who Milo and Corey Feldmen saw having drug orgies with little boys. (Shhhhh, Milo-—don’t give names of those producers, etc.).
