Trump should have told Comey in person first.
Comey should not have found out by happenstance via a TV screen.
One of my (many) jobs ended by my superior driving 4 hours round-trip just to tell me. THAT is the kind of respect warranted.
Comey deserved NO RESPECT for his politicization of the FBI.
The way he was fired suggests that comey really did go around and say trump was crazy. No Potus is going to appreciate that.. .especially this one.
While I agree in principle it’s still delicious irony that Comey was hip-deep in meaningless ‘diversity’ treacle when the news hit him. Perhaps it’s a measure of his arrogance and sense of job security that he regarded it as a prank.

I suspect you never lied to your bosses. Or were never in collusion with the competition. I’m guessing you never committed fraud and acted out in such a way that your friends and your enemies all wanted you gone.
Comey did all this and worse.
