There are also ‘Little Ice Ages’ in between the longer stints of cold, when the Sun ceases much of its sunspot activity (which, by the way, is happening now). So, to return to the beginning, drill baby drill.

McCain has been challenged in the primaries for the last two senate elections. In both cases he managed to get 60 percent of the vote. Two out of five Republicans wanted him gone but the Democrat crossovers and the military vote kept him in office. Yes, the military vote. Good question, which, after a long lifetime of never missing a congressional election, I answered by sitting out the congressional portion of the 2016 election.
I haven’t read all of the posts to this thread, but so far, no one has pointed out that for practical purposes, Article I, Section 1, clause one, has been excised from the Constitution.
No regulation is law, and should not be honored as such.
